“Loved it here! 2 pools, one indoor, one outdoor. Room was a great size and our door lead right out to the indoor pool. Staff were very friendly! Restaurant was really good! The ribeye was excellent! We really liked the food options to purchase in the lobby as well. We would definitely stay here again and hope to stay at a Wyndham location on any other future trips!”
“Great night's sleep in-between travelling long distances. What more could you want?? Shout out to the friendly breakfast lady who thought our British accents were Australian, she started our day off on a bright note.”
“Most importantly: The room was clean, and advance room requests through the Bonvoy app were accurately accommodated, which has not always been the case with other hotels.
Location is great--close to the freeway and walkable to downtown Visalia.
A previous Google user review is wrong about the breakfast buffet--it's only free for Bonvoy Platinum level or higher (which is standard for Marriott hotels), not Gold. The flavored water in the lobby was nice, and cornhole/ping pong is offered to guests in the courtyard.
If you're incidentally also booking the official Sequoia Shuttle to go to Sequoia National Park in the morning, this hotel is a 3-minute walk away from the Convention Center-Comfort Suites stop, which is across the street from the Comfort Suites on the northern end of the Convention Center block--the 1B sign on Acequia Ave. A hotel employee almost led us to another stop (which was correct for a different shuttle), but a younger female employee corrected them and told us about the right place for us.
Parking is outdoors, $15/day, and charged at the end of your visit. If a gate is inconsistently open/closed, try another end of the lot. Plentiful paid EV charging.”

“This was a good choice. It was clean, full equipped, and great breakfast buffet. I want to commend Roman from the front desk for the great customer service. He was very welcoming, he took time to give me good recommendations, and I’m glad I listened to him because at the park they only asked if everyone in the car is a U.S. resident, so no worries if you don’t have a government ID for your kids. Thank you, Roman!”

“This is the cheapest most reasonable hotel in Visalia. It's not great but it's workable and safe and not expensive. It's about 80 to 109 a room. And it's got access to some really cute guys on sniffies. By”
“Blessings to all!!! I had one of the best experiences in this hotel. The receptionist and the janitors very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it. May God continue to bless them all.”
“I have stayed in a half a dozen hotels in Visalia over the past several years and this hotel, by far, is one of the best. The hotel is spotless, outside area is maintained beautifully, the pool, jacuzzi and outside area are perfect and room kitchenette and laundry super helpful. The staff are always willing to help too. Thanks for a terrific stay.”

“Great décor of room and bathroom. New hallway with nice color combination and very clean no smell in room and hotel. Beds are new and very comfortable. I sleep like a baby. Safe and secure. Staff is great helpful and knowledgeable. Defiantly number one hotel of my choice. Very happy with service. Well lit parking lot. Defiantly will stay again.”
“We stayed in a renovated room and overall, it was lovely. The room was comfortable and cozy. A great location for a couple of days. Very close to downtown Visalia and Mooney.
When we arrived to check in around 6 pm, there was a sign on the door with a phone number to call to check in. So, we called and were advised it would take a couple minutes for the front desk clerk to get there. It was a little cold so we waited a couple minutes then I decided to bring my car up to the check in area so that we could wait in the car, then the front desk attendant arrived. Overall maybe waited 5 minutes or so. Not terrible.”
“Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was very convenient for getting to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping.
One unexpected highlight was the bath towels, they were surprisingly soft and a nice touch compared to what you typically find at hotels. The complimentary breakfast also had a good variety of options, and we appreciated that the hot items rotated each morning.
The main reason for the 4-star rating was the bed and pillows, which we found to be uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a great night's sleep. If the bedding were improved, this would easily be a 5-star stay. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, well maintained, and offered a pleasant overall experience.”
