It was adequate, the location was convenient for my sequoia trip and close to lots of restaurants. The room itself was pretty dusty and gave us allergies, but worked well enough for one night. The AC is loud but works really well.

Great place! Price per night is very reasonable, especially when you book ahead of time. Staff is very nice and friendly. Special thanks to staff member Renee for being especially helpful and nice! Thank you for going the extra mile and caring about your guests. Rooms have recently been remodeled and updated which is nice. Pet friendly.

Motel 6, Visalia, CA review. Made a reservation on the M6 website. Upon arrival at hotel, was told they needed a $60 deposit, cash only. I tried to pay the deposit with a CC but they wouldn't take it (even though I reserved/paid for the room with my CC. No cash, no room key. You might have to go find an ATM machine (another customer did) in order to check into your room. Its crappy business, as there was no notice on the website about the nature of the deposit. Room was fine, but the washer and dryer in the lobby area were both OUT OF ORDER.

Trashy, uncomfortable, and not worth the discount
Stayed at Motel 6 in Visalia because it was quick, cheap, and easy to book from my phone. Never again.
The place is super trashy. Thin walls, so you’ll hear everything around you — and I mean everything. My shower sprayed water all over the bathroom floor, which may have just been my room, but honestly? Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the norm.
The room smelled like bleach, like they just wrapped up a crime scene cleanup and decided to move on. The bed was rock hard, the walls were painted some weird unsettling color, and the staff looked like they’d rather be literally anywhere else.
Oh, and surprise! There’s a $60 cash deposit required — a policy that’s only posted at the property, not mentioned online. If you don’t like it? You can cancel and still get hit with a fee. Wild.
Spend the extra $10 and stay anywhere else in Visalia. Trust me — it’s not worth the few bucks you save. The discount? Not worth the headache, the smell, or the sleep-deprived regret.
Avoid. You’ve been warned.

Arrived after dark and long drive with my pregnant wife and toddler just to find out that my room was assigned to someone earlier in the day that supposedly pretended to be me and there had no room available for her us, after taking picture of my driver license and asking for my wife’s ID she went to go check to see if the room was occupied and after a while she came back and gave us the key to a room but I could not sleep the whole night knowing that she said that someone had came in earlier under my name and a room was given to them

it looks like im not the only one suprised by a cash deposit at a motel i was told it would be refunded upon check out so i went this morning to check out and was refused my refund these people are theives i can only imagine how many people they have stole cash from

Great stay at this simple motel. Fridge and microwave, Wi-Fi and TV (remote wasn't working very well but nothing too bad). 2 queen sized confortable beds. Easy vehicle access.

I woke up with cockroaches in my bed crawling all over my body. With that I say it all. The cleanliness of the room left everything to be desired and the facilities were old and in a sorry state. Not only will I not return to that specific establishment, but I have banned any Motel 6 for life.
I went to complain to reception and they told me that the person in charge would contact me that same day. This was 3 days ago.

Needed something cheap safe and clean...was surprised the room lacked some maintinence but was totally clean!! My first time getting a clean a budget motel...Easy freeway access alot of work vehicles there (out if toen contractors needing a temp home ?) so was quiet and had security cameras..Travel Tip..saved $11 booking on line with a 3rd party since they wouldn't match price..Will use again.
