Perfection Pet Foods reviews are very concerning, They make private label dog and cat foods. HEB and Target. I believe they make the Heritage Ranch for HEB. I was hoping for a quality of pretty good at the price point but after reading reviews I am very concerned for my dogs and now have to look for a good brand. Just putting this out there. Read what one employee posted that does not come up right away. You have to click to find it. I have to say at this point my dogs are ok but not buying any more.

This company produces Target's Kindfull pet food. Some private label stuff. In September 2023, my dog had their chicken and rice small breed dog food and had bloody diarrhea. It took a couple days to connect the dots unfortunately but I immediately took her to the emergency vet. I have vet records showing she had no bodily trauma, no illnesses, no viruses. The only change was I opened a new bag of dog food, fed her it, and she was spraying thick bloody goo all over. The vet tested her poop and found nothing but they didn't test the food because for all of us, it was a no brainer. Well no, it has been months and it's still impossible to get in contact with this company. Target uses Sedgwick claims (which has been helpful) but kindfull has dodged emails and calls. In an email in December, they responded and said they closed the case because their food has really good testing and maybe me exposing their food to air or my hands contaminated the food. ??? Are you serious? The same air and hands all of her other food have been exposed to. I made it clear that it only happens after she eats this because I fed her some of the food at the vet office to replicate what's been happening. She has diarrhea within 20 minutes. Fast forward to today, I call Target to let them know that kindfull has been dodging me and Sedgwick and only has a contracted vet speak for them. On the phone with Target, she reveals its actual Perfection per food who is Kindfull. I just checked the label and no where does it mention that. I wouldn't trust kindfull dog food or treats anymore as there is clearly some shady practice going on to avoid being accountable or seen in a bad light. I honestly just wanted the cost of the dog food and vet and missed worked covered. All of this over $400 to a company valued at $235 million is nuts.

I would 0 stars if I could, but since I have to give 1 that’s all they get, the very worse place to pickup, very unorganized, long long waits, they say the will call when they are ready for you and the don’t.I arrived early and still waited over 9 hrs to get a dock. I will never pickup from here or haul their cheap paint freight. My advice is stay away from this place.

Draconian work environment. My experience became a whole string of situations, and of course Google wont allow me to elaborate everything in detail to help others.Even the pictures of the pets on the wall look sad as heck. They look like abused pets, representing the abused workers of this place. Not to mention the outright unhealthy trash for food/treats that goes out on main stream market shelves from this place. I worked in production, and have see it first hand. Never will I feed my family pet, or any pet, what this company produces and distributes for themselves and other big name brands you see every day. There is straight illegal/malpractice workplace tactics happening here, including picture proof that I have in my particular case. This place is beyond SHOT OUT.

I started as a temp to hire, and was eventually hired on within a month or so. You'd think the benefits and pay (on the surface/paper) seemed pretty sweet, but a polished fece is still a fece. When I was being considered for full hire, I notified my manager at the time that I also have another job that requires me to travel/tour and that I would give as much time in advance for a heads up, but I will not just throw that away, and if it was going to be an issue, then lets put it on the table now so there are no surprises and no time/resources wasted. I was told "shouldn't be a problem" and was fully hired then on. In retrospect, I suspect it was because they were in desperate need for bodies because of the turn over rate. I started as a packaging operator as a temp, but was hired to transition as a full time Die Roll operator. However, they kept me listed as a packaging operator (I suspect) to be able to pay me a lower rate per hour, despite being a much more physically demanding, mechanically inclined, dangerous and skillful job. EVEN AFTER reluctantly getting forklift certification so I can come in on an extra days to work or receive retaliation points, the pay rate did NOT change. That was another thing, they would present occasional Fridays or Saturday as optional, but in reality, they were presented in a way that if you DID NOT attend those revolving days that you were "scheduled" to work (despite already having worked a full week of 12hr shifts) then you would receive a retaliatory attendance "point" on your workplace record... Even though they say the extra days were optional. Management was known to simply post a schedule in the work hallway expecting you to fall in line, and this was common talk/dissatisfaction amongst the employees but most were too intimidated to speak up. Then management would alter their tactics to say the extra days are optional, so they would take "volunteers" but if nobody wanted to volunteer, then you were voluntold and would receive attendance points if you did not comply. SO, in the transition of my position of temp to full hire employee, I was in a grace period of about a month before I could access my work benefits such as sick time, PTO, etc. During this grace period, I got extremely sick (which turned out to be an insane case of strep), but as per company guidelines during covid mandates and policies, I was sent home to receive covid testing and get clearance to return to work. This is when I discovered it was a gnarly case of strep to which I was instructed by my doctor to stay home. EVEN WITH A DOCTORS NOTE, AND BEING SENT HOME AS PER COMPANY COVID POLICIES, I still received attendance points against my work record because I "did not have sick time or PTO acquired yet" as if I knew when, or could stall getting sick until I did, despite having an official doctor note, AND PPF sending me home as per company covid guideline in the first place. AFTER finally passing the grace period, they "suggested", in all reality, constructively forced me to use my now acquired benefits RETROACTIVELY to take away the retaliatory attendance points from that whole getting sick and being sent home because of covid policy situation. Later, it came to me needing time to do my other job that involves touring. Small runs, usually 3-5 days. When notifying months in advance, push came to shove and the time was there. I was told, "well you didn't request with PTO, and we don't approve non PTO.." to which my response was well you force me to use some retroactively for getting sick during my grace period. ON TOP OF THAT, I sated that you (being my manager at the time) stated that "it shouldn't be a problem" when I put this out and open on the table BEFORE bringing me on. This is just my case. You would hear in the breakrooms during lunches and breaks on how some other employee was screwed over in similar instances, and unkept promises by management. It was common talk/occurrence of management saying one thi

Terrible experience sat here for over 7 hours waiting to get loaded after the first order didn't go through the lady working as the gate manager at the time was very disrespectful and confrontational yelling at all the drivers I said something to her about the way she was talking to people and I believe because of that they made me wait longer my advice pack a bag cause your going to be there awhile!!
