I dropped my dog off at 11:30 for his wash today. At 3:30, I tried to call to see if he was ready yet, no answer so I left a voicemail. Another half hour went by, no return call, so I called again, left another message, stated I needed to pick him up no later than 5. Another half hour, you guessed it, no call back. Another call to the business, no answer. How do you run a business like that!? I finally picked him up at 4:30. He was completely dry, so he had obviously been done for hours, just sitting alone in a cage unnecessarily when a simple phone call would have had him home hours earlier. He will not be back.

An excellent highly experienced groomer just started at Pet Envy. In the past, I stopped going to Pet Envy on Goshen. My dog came back worse than when I took him. Same scenario. The new groomer I new from another salon. She was very skilled. She was so backed up, 3 hours later I called to find out when our dog would be ready. After 8 minutes on hold today, I hung up and drove there. Still waiting at 5:15pm. Dropped him off at 1:30pm. All these hours and my dog has had no water or has not urinated. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the groomer in the past. Who just started working at Pet Envy. However the groomer was so backed up she rushed and did a terrible job on our dog. Ears different lengths. Choppy haircut. Etc. I must ad, just like past experiences at Pet Envy, my dogs haircut was terrible. Very uneven and choppy. The groomer rushed through the process They try to do to many dogs there. As for Pet Envy, I gave them one more chance than they deserve. If anyone knows of another grooming salon please post. let me know. We've all heard of puppy mills. Pet Envy is a dog grooming mill.

I have been taking Cali here for a year or so. They have had me pick her up and pay and not even bathed her, trimmed her or any other service. When calling them on it oh we just didn't get to her bring her back in and for a free service. I have asked for her nails to be trimmed and when my son gets her home no nail trim. Yesterday was the last straw! I picked her up and she has been limping ever since. She cannot even jump up on the couch or chair like she has always done. When we got her in the truck I told my husband boy they must have given her a sedative or something as she isn't even excited like she usually is. Got her home and she went straight to her bed. Later she came to jump up on my lap like every night and she couldn't even jump! I called them and guess what they said "no, the regular groomer said she was just fine yesterday"! NOT SO!!! I will never take her back to them again! IWOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR ANY ANIMAL SERVICES!!!!

I would give negative stars if I could! I've taken all 3 of dogs to Pet Envy West for several years. My dogs have always come home happy and trimmed exactly how I requested, within 2 hours. I dropped my 3 dogs off at 1pm today at the "new" store on Goshen/Akers, and was told it would take 2 hours. When it hit 3 hours, I called and was told they were bathed, but were still waiting for a groomer. I asked if they have had the chance to go outside to potty, but was told they don't do that. I waited another hour and decided to show up. What I saw when I walked in was SICKENING! There were approximately 15 people standing around talking. They were literally doing nothing....and then I spotted my 8 year old dog, who is blind and can barely walk due to arthritis in his hind legs, tied to a tether around his neck that was so tight, he was making noises I've never heard him make. His "groomer" was busy texting on her phone and obviously didn't care about him being in distress. She finished her text conversation, then proceeded to grab my dog by his hind legs and aggressively twist him to accommodate her angle. She shaved something on his back region and then twisted him 180 degrees so he was facing her. My dog fell onto his stomach while she was flipping him around. I then had to watch her pick him up off of her table and carry him to the back room while he was in a "U" shaped position. And then she brought out my other dog!!! While I know everyone is gonna ask why I didn't step in....this literally happened within 3 minutes of me showing up, having to stand in line, and then getting close enough to recognize my dog on the abusers table. I was very vocal about what I was witnessing and was less than 1/2 a second away from busting thru the doors to save my dogs from this person. But, thank god Holly saw and heard my reaction and immediately went back to talk to the abuser. I don't know what Holly said to the abuser, but the next thing I saw was Tara stepping in and taking my dog away from this person. Tara was one of my normal groomers at Pet Envy West. I watched as Tara finished my last dog up. She was so good with him. There was no choking, tossing, or aggressive behavior. I will never recommend Pet Envy on Goshen/Akers. I don't know what their hiring standards are, but my dogs were there for well over 4 hours, locked in a crate. I hate to think of what my other 2 dogs went through before I decided to show up. But, what I do know is that 2 of my dogs refused to eat when I got them home and now have uncontrollable diarrhea, and the other one won't even come out from under my bed. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!. I will be reporting the groomer to authorities, calling Animal Control, and I will also be going in there to speak with the manager or owner. Thankfully, I was able to get a very good description of the abuser because she chose to come out into the lobby and spend several minutes glaring at me while I waited for my dog. So unprofessional and juvenile. And yet I paid well over $150 for this horrible experience and now have 3 traumatized dogs.

There have been multiple times where I walk out of this disappointed in how my dog looks. I even asked, "did you guys even bathe him?" Because he still had crusties all over his face. Or I was always asking for things they didn't do, like "you guys didn't shave his tail" or "you didn't shave his little booty h" or "could you please clean around his eyes" Going to find somewhere else to take my little guy.

Listen to me, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE.I dropped off my dog in the morning, picked him up in the afternoon and I was absolutely horrified by how they made my dog look.He has a HUGE bald spot on the top of his head, as well as multiple other bald spots on other parts of his body. His ears are still dirty, unbrushed, and unbelievably long. There are pieces of fur that are longer than others all over him. His face is still super dirty and he has tons of eye boogers, even after I paid for a bath.I have a toy poodle who has never shed before. NEVER. I picked him up today and he left fur all over me and my car, as if they left the excess fur they cut off on him. This is absolutely unbelievable. I’ve taken my dog here for a few years, and they have messed him up in the past. They’ve treated him horribly in the past but I’ve always chosen to go back for some reason. Never again. I’ve been wasting my money and traumatizing my dog for years for what?!I’m never coming back to this place, and I suggest not ever considering this place a groomer for your dog.

Pertmart charged me a ridiculous amount. $185 for 2 dogs . They charge extra for brushing because they said my dog was matted (I thought already included with the bath and cut charge), I agree because I want my dog to look pretty. When I picked up my dog , she was shaved all the ay to the skin. So what is the brushing fee for? Nails are sharp and she won't stop scratching her ears. The groomer needs to be fired, she is ruining pet smart's reputation. See below for a before and after photo . 1st photo was groomed by other salon . 2nd was by pertsmart

Convenient location and reasonable rates, receptionist Holly is very polite and accommodating with scheduling and notices for appointments and pick up. The groomers do a good job, and they always make sure you are happy with the cut before you leave.

Not sure when this place started going downhill, brought my St. Bernard for a standard groom, never asked for a cut. She was done in 2 hours completely shaved with an almost bald patch on her left shoulder. The only time we ask for her to be shaved is when they need to shave her fur that gets matted. There were none this time. Our St. Bernard has been here before and we never received this service especially for the price we paid. I used to bring all of my babies here and they would come home with bows or bandanas, we haven’t got any of that the last couple months.

I know things happen but this is the THRID hair cut my dog has came back with cuts and blood & no clipped nails. Also very rude workers caught yelling at other animals because they are barking or not staying still. Totally unprofessional & not okay at all. Don't work in this business if you are not dog friendly or have the patience with animals!!!
