Whitendale Park is a great, large park in a nice suburbia neighborhood on a quiet street. It is very clean and well-kept. The park features lots of grass, multiple softball and baseball diamonds, and adjacent fields for youth sports. It has a playground with a swingset, slide, and bars that is perfect for small children. There are shaded picnic areas with tables, a parking lot, and bathrooms. A smaller recreational hall is available to rent for community activities. Some note that the fields could use more maintaining for better quality.
Part of the park is blocked off because of the school.

The park is very clean. The picnic areas and playgrounds are shaded. It was super hot outside but the sun sails made it tolerable

Great suburbia park. Bathrooms! Softball diamonds. Play ground. Still not sure why they changed the picnic areas. The original was perfectly functional.
