Jamie has been doing my hair for years and she is wonderful. My hair is difficult to highlight, but she always does a great job and makes sure it's blonde enough. She's very warm and friendly and I enjoy every visit to the salon. Highly recommend A Kut Above.Services: Haircut

I love this cute little hair salon! It’s family friendly and in a great location. Jamie is flexible with her scheduling and always super accommodating to me and my kids. I’ve been seeing Jamie for a few years now. She’s been my daughter’s stylist for years. Following the pandemic it was very convenient to have her style both my daughter and I. The biggest plus is that her prices are very affordable and the level of attention she gives to her customers is phenomenal!! Brought my 5 year old boy for a haircut. Haircuts for him are somewhat difficult because he gets nervous about it. But he felt immediately comfortable with Jaime and when he was finished he said he wanted to go back to her for his next cut! Great haircut and experience!Service: Kids' cuts

Kathy is a personable and skilled stylist. We lucked out choosing Kathy when we relocated. Parking can be an issue and is a fault of the City of Vista. But space is available nearby. We have recommended A Kut Above to friends who are also very happy.

This location is not closed. I had a friend share her recommendation for Jamie. She was so friendly & kind. She is super easy to talk to & very very helpful when I asked for tips on how to style my hair differently. She far over exceeded my expectations. My hair looks great & her pricing way incredibly reasonable. If you decide to see her, tell her Jen sent you.
