Never trust your vehicle here. I had the shop experience of all our nightmares where dishonesty and incompetence cost me an extra $13,000 to fix. An initial bill of $4k and a few weeks to fix a few cosmetic issues and make my FUNCTIONING truck run more optimally, the engine blew while I was driving it to work out of the shop - in the first 10 miles. They charged me another $6000 to fix the problem they clearly caused, then kicked me in the teeth by also making me pay for the tow bill back to their shop AND blaming me for having a lift on the truck (which it had since purchase) - and then charged me another $2500 above even that estimate! That's $8500 total repairs to fixed the engine they clearly blew. The only other conclusion is that we should all learn this valuable lesson from Luke - you cannot take your (running) vehicle in for engine repairs to Auto Precision and expect it to run more than 10 miles. You should fully expect you'll have to pay for a brand new engine, you should fully expect them to deflect all blame back onto you for needing the new engine after giving them a running one for essentially a tuneup, and you should fully expect you'll be out several months' use of the vehicle, and even the tow bill right back to their vehicle. I'm about to go pick up this truck again and this time I'll only expect another 10 miles out of it - you know, $1,300 per mile. And if you get more for your money, you're running on borrowed time. Auto Precision admits they don't know what caused the newly replaced engine to blow except they're 100% sure it's not them. "It's probably the lift"...which was on it for the previous 100k miles.

Luke is the BEST. I'm a GearHead (work on cars) but do not have time to perform maintenance on my vehicles (Too Darn Busy). So I am Very Skeptical of Auto Shops working on my cars. Auto Precision is Tried and True. Excellent work for a fair price. A++
