Another physical therapist recommended Finishline to me and said this is where physical therapists go when they need someone top-notch. I drive 1/2 hour from Del Mar and it is worth the extra time and effort to work with someone like Garey who really knows what they are doing. I had an elbow replacement and wanted my full range of motion back because I am very active. Garey has got the know-how and got my elbow into a full extension within a few weeks. I have had other physical therapists work on my elbow but none can come close to Garey. If you need results then go to Garey - he is simply the best!

HiAre you in pain?Have you had to alter your lifestyle because of this pain?Are you looking for professional help in reducing or eliminating this pain?My answer for the above 3 questions was definitively YES.The solution for all three was finding Garey at Finish Line Physical Therapy and working with him.He is extremely knowledgeable and caring.He develops a therapy plan with each patient that in my case includes: ultrasound, hands on massage and joint / muscle manipulation, range of motion and muscle strengthening exercises and perhaps most importantly careful observation of my (your) individual joint articulation. This careful observation has proven to be of great benefit to me. One example is that Garey noted that my right patella was not tracking linearly during knee flexion and extension. A simple adjustment of my right cycling shoe cleat position improved the linearity and reduced my joint wear and associated pain.I originally went to Garey for a lumbar spine issue since my lifestyle was significantly impacted. Over 7 weeks of his therapy, (and my performing recommended stretches and exercises), I have my life back and am able to cycle, swim, skydive, hike and sleep with much greater comfort and strength.I recommend his practice unreservedly and highly recommend that you do yourself a favor and work with him to your benefit.

Here I go again to another physical therapist that was recommended by my Workman's comp. After going to concentra and another PT this is paradise for me. Gary is amazing! He shows you techniques that you can use to either get out if pain or bring it down. Although, some days are harder than others, he listens to your issues and helps you work through them. His office is not overpacked with people so you get that one on one attention. He really does take his time with you and makes you feel like your issues are valid. Sometimes my body is in so much pain but his conversations and stories really do help with distraction lol Thank you Gary I'll see you soon.

Gary pulls miracles and this is the place you want to go if you need physical therapy! Came in with an injury which included breaking both my ankles, legs, and 3 compression fractures in my spine and wasn’t able to walk without using a walker. After immense help from Gary there is a massive decline in pain, I am moving in ways I never thought I would again, and everytime I go in there is progress, he really knows what he is doing and I would highly recommend!

If you have any injury or pain, go to Garey! Within less than an hour, Garey made a thorough assessment of my shoulder and knee pain and immediately prescribed exercises that left me feeling better than I had felt in months. Garey makes sure that you understand where the pain originated from and why his exercises will help target and strengthen the weak areas of your body. It is clear that he cares about each person that walks through his doors and he will make sure that you leave feeling better than when you came in. Thank you Garey!!!

I first tried two other places in Vista for physical therapy. Both places tested my range of motion, gave me print-outs of exercises to do at home, then sent me on my way. Impersonal, brief...I had the feeling that the people who worked there could have just been shoe salesmen. (Not that there is anything wrong with selling shoes) Then I found Garey and my situation was truly addressed. My pain is much eased! He is hands-on! Knowledgeable, caring. Garey was friendly and professional. The facility was adequately equipped and clean. I was referred to Finishline through TriCare. Garey was very respectful of the military community and even gave me a discount on copays.

I had an amazing experience that led to a full recovery. I had a major injury to my elbow and Gareys hard work, positive attitude, and hands on approach was the reason I made such a quick and strong recovery. I went and on to earn the Physical fitness award in my Law Enforcement Academy and it's majorly in part due to Garey. He is a hard working, extremely knowledgeable, fun to chat with Physical therapist that felt like a old friend by the time I was leaving. I'd go back to him in a heart beat and recommend him in a second.

Garey is the absolute best. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The appointments seem to go by so quickly because the conversation is always great. I have seen lots of improvement with my injury and feel confident that I am on the path to recovery with the help from Garey. I highly recommend Finishline Physical Therapy!

Garey is the best! He knows what he is talking about and knows how to make you better. He is very thorough and his attention to detail and the way he works and explains the situation in a way you can understand is encredible. He has helped me tremendously before and after my right shoulder surgery and I look forward to his help after my left shoulder surgery. I wouldn't want to go to anyone else. I can't begin to say how amazing Garey is. We've needed his services for both my husband, and daughter. In both instances, he was quick to respond, able to properly identify the problem, and start a plan of attack. He is passionate about physical therapy, and genuinely wants to help people. He isn't someone who just goes through the motions of PT, he takes the time to make sure his client is comfortable and understands the problem, and how he plans to fix it. We feel fortunate to have found Garey.

My wife and I have both been treated at Finishline Physical Therapy for a couple of different injuries. Every time we receive amazing service and quickly get back on the road to recovery. We never feel rushed and he takes his time helping us and answering all our questions. We would absolutely recommend his services to anyone. Great service, very knowledgeable and amazing at what he can do to help us recover quickly.

I saw Garey a couple of time at his Larchmont location in Los Angeles. He was fantastic! He really helped me, first with my foot and then with my knee. Garey was very professional, personable, and got me back on my feet. I loved that the treatment was personalized and I was meeting with one person throughout my treatment. At one point I had to switch over to another PT facility for insurance purposes and it was definitely subpar compared to Garey's service. I was meeting with different people each week and it felt like a factory. I was sad to notice that Finish Line was no longer on Larchmont when I went for a walk today. I'm glad to see that it's been relocated to my hometown of San Diego. Good luck to you Garey! I highly recommend him.

I honestly don't have the words to express the gratitude myself and my family have for this kind man and his wife. Gary is so kind and knowledgeable when it comes to strengthening your muscles and everything else! I hurt my knee while I was running and I wanted to see a physical therapist that could get me back on my feet. I could barely walk or bend my left knee, my knee socket was popped out of place. Gary somehow magically popped my knee back into place after a few sessions. He gave me excercises to do and even gave me some bands to help get some strength back to my knee. After about a month and a half (I think) my knee was back to normal and he told me I could start running. He gave me some tips and tricks to ensure that this wouldn't happen again. I was so happy with him that I brought in my whole family, lol. We love them here and you will not meet kinder people like him and his wife. My knee is doing great and it wouldn't be if I hadn't come here. So thank you Gary!! Do yourself a favor and come see him, not only is he kind but he will educate on anything about life and he will entertain you the entire time you are there! Again thank you Gary!!
