The manager Kayla was extremely helpful and helping me find an all natural grain free treat for my cat. I specified that I needed something with no grain or sugar because my cat was on medicated food for UTIs. She found a treat that literally has one ingredient and my cat is obsessed with it. She was super sweet and we got to chatting about cats. I’m happy to see they have fellow animal lovers working here. Thank you again!

Excellent customer service from all the employees at this store, these folks went above and beyond to special order dog food we needed for our allergic dog. Thank you Jeremy! Store is clean, bright and organized. This location is better stocked than the smaller Escondido store …plus it’s way bigger and the aisle ways are very wide so no need to squeeze by people. Very dog friendly. Had a nice time talking to the employees who were knowledgeable. Seems like this store has more dog food reps frequenting, so might be easier to get what you need in terms of specialty brands. Prices are the same as other small local stores(at least for the items I shopped).

Not only does this place have a ton of pet supplies, but the staff is awesome. Both Jessica and Jeremy are amazing and care! Both of them went above and beyond to help me get the right muzzle for my rock eating golden retriever. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate them and I will definitely be back to shop!

My puppy and I love coming here! They have cute cookies at the front for doggos in cute shapes, plenty of bone selection, and the toy isle is unbeatable. A little pricey if I’m honest, for example the water life vests at close to $40 whereas on Amazon I can get them for less than half that price. Other than that, the staff are so nice and always welcoming when we visit.

This place has a great selection of high end dog foods as well as lower priced ones too. We find many items here that we previously had to drive all the way to dexters deli in Carlsbad for. Happy to have this place in Vista and close to a grocery store too.

I only go here because the dog food I feed my dog is not sold at petco . The staff here is always all over the place always seems to be new employees not knowing how to ring up or questions. One young girl shamed me for feeding my cats kibble she said wet food should be fed to cats. Yea well I own 4 indoor cats and can not afford to feed them all strictly wet food I did not even ask her about that anyways. There was this young lady working there that was super friendly and helpful she's no longer there as of December I think. Anyways going to see if I can order my dogs food online to just avoid all the chaos

We absolutely love Pets Plus! They have everything you need from food, toys, accessories and more. But to boot they have the most phenomenal customer service across the board. Every time we walk by we stop in to say hello and grab a duck heart for our golden retriever. The staff always remember Taters name and go out of their way to say hello. It's obvious that the staff have a genuine love of animals and I appreciate that so much! Their prices are very fair, selection is plenty and the staff are amazing. Highly recommend shopping local and treating your pet here!
