“Nice store with great produce and bulk coffee selections. Especially appreciate they go to the trouble of putting roast dates on the coffee bins. Good selection of breads and baked goods, too. Reminds me of what Sprouts use to be.”
“First time here, recommended by a friend. I don't have a WinCo by me in San Diego but I really wish there was. Big store, clean, organized & I like the price comparisons on some of if the end caps. I'll be back when I'm in the area again.”
“Great little market. Clean and organized and lots of spices and fresh produce. Love the fresh corn tortillas delivered daily and their red salsa is the best! My favorite!”

“Every time I trek down here from La Costa I kick myself for not coming more often. It's so far for me, but the prices are just so unbelievable when you have teenagers in the house and have to shop in bulk. I usually need 2 full carts of groceries a week! I can get a huge full cart including meats and incidentals for about $300! When you come bring your own bags, and be prepared to bag your own groceries - fast. Bring help maybe? Also it's cash or debit only, no credit. And Don't make any messes please with the bulk items. Keep a watch on your small children, it's like a huge crowded wherehouse here. Let's not ruin it for everyone and cause them to discontinue things like bulk honey, peanut butter and candy because we can't be responsible. I'm especially happy with the produce section- I have had great luck getting fresh, good quality produce here!”
“The parking lot is pretty tight. The store is different from the other locations I'm used to, it feels like the layout is reversed and goes right to left instead of left to right.
It is generally well organized and clean, you can tell it's up kept or just has less traffic. The staff are friendly, I got rung up by a nice guy named Nicholas. They seem quick to open another line.
The important part: the Aisle of Shame is easy to browse and get through without being trashed. They must have someone going through often to fix it.”
“Their food is bomb! If you like ceviche you can always find some good ceviche already made in the fridge by the check out lines. The food is great! I love that the quesadillas aren’t greasy and the food is made upon ordering but it’s worth the wait”
“Clean grocery store, high quality items, but not high prices.
One example, another store had green grapes for $ 3.99/lb. Aldi had high quality green grapes for $1.99/lb. They also have many organic items as well.
Milk, sour cream, all cheeses, eggs, frozen items, mexican grocery items etc, all priced well below other grocery stores. They have all types of chips, bread, avocados etc, all at discount. I visit Aldi at least once a week.”
“Great quality items at decent prices compared to larger grocers.
Just need to stay on top of recall notices as they have had a few recently.
Check online for their weekly sales ads.
Friendly staff and clean stores.”
“Love, love, love this store! I've shopped at different Sprouts forever and this location has to be my favorite. The entire staff is so friendly, the store is always well stocked, clean and organized. Cece makes the experience here a 10/10. She makes our day everytime we're in the store. She's so warm, helpful and amazing with my kids whenever we're in the store. I live between the Bressi location and the San Marcos location and come here because this store is the best!”
“This is my go-to place for grocery shopping. They've always had what I need at a great price. A few considerations I have is that it's primarily a self-checkout location and parking can be a little difficult due to how tight the lot is. There's homeless generally hanging out near the entrance and at times Ive seen them using drugs. It wouldn't hurt to exercise some caution when they're in the area.”
“Popped in here to grab some jugs of water—heard the prices were good, but I’d never shopped at Aldi before. Honestly, not impressed. I know a lot of people like it, but the store felt kind of sparse, hardly any workers around, and no one at the cashier when I was checking out. ? Some items, like the strawberries, were decent and had good prices, but overall the shopping experience didn’t wow me. Nothing compares to Trader Joe’s across the street—same great prices but with all the fun, creative, festive items and that sense of community, plus all your favorite little Trader Joe’s goodies. ?
I might swing by Aldi occasionally for a jug of water, but otherwise… eh.”
