Got a mostly clean car, but was expecting a more thorough wipe down…
Plus , walked away with a brand new window chip.

Don’t waste your time. Just paid $50 for them to not even vacuum or wipe down my seats or trunk. Waste of money and time. Won’t be back.

Tried Autopia Car Wash in Walnut Creek and was not very satisfied. I paid $42 plus $6 tip, but the wash was mediocre—I still had to clean spots and dirt myself after. The outside looked okay, but overall not worth the price. Probably won’t return.

I’ve been a loyal customer for Autopia for several years and been happy with their services - I don’t know if there has been a management or staff change but my last experience was extremely unsatisfactory. I went in for the Ultimate Package at $46, expecting a thorough cleaning inside and out. Unfortunately, it was really disappointing. They didn’t even bother to wipe down the interior, which should be a basic part of such a high-priced package. For the cost, I expected much better attention to detail. Definitely not worth the money. They just lost another customer.

Workers attitude was terrible, the car was clean but the attitude needs to improve. My husband went there today and told me that the workers weren’t very helpful with showing where to put the car, instead used aggressive expressions and hand signals (I’m Hispanic, not being racist). Anyway, it was his first time there so obviously he didn’t know where to go. Customer service should improve. We got the works by the way, he says he would still go back.

SCAM ALERT -- Do not go to this place, they will auto enroll you in their monthly wash program without your knowledge. Auto-charging your card $70 each month. Avoid this place like the plague. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Did not get what I paid for. I got the ultimate wash and they missed so many of the places that the wash supposed to have included. Should have checked before tipping (my mistake).

Thought we'd give this place as chance as a fellow Walnut Creek business. My partner works in Walnut Creek and has frequent interactions with someone from the staff who encouraged him to bring our newly purchased used Rav4 to get detailed. The job interior wise, was okay. We have a dog seat cover in the back, and my partner asked them if he should remove it, and they said no its fine. Fast forward, they didnt clean under the cover even though they said it was fine. They did a good job getting the hair out in other spaces though so (hence the 2 stars).
Second, there were a few chips on the outside our car that weren't there before. Third, they didn't dry our windows well, left residue, didn't get pics before we wiped it. Fourth, some water stains that were not there before. I have a very keen eye and would have noticed this when we purchaed our car. They said were caused parking near sprinklers either from the dealer, or us. The dealership we bought it from had no grass. Neither me or my partner park near sprinklers either at work or at home (we have a car port). Also haven't driven it out for fun to be parked by any sprinklers. Overall, first and last time coming here. Very disappointed.

My car was in the shade when it was finished and I didn’t notice the overspray on tire spray all over the car. So glad I gave a big tip🤬

Not impressed at all. Paid for a "detail" albeit a cheap one but their wash doesn't get all the pollen or crud off so you still have spots on the windshield, they didn't vacuum an area and there were areas I can tell weren't wiped down. Mats still dirty. If you need a basic wash, that's what you are getting. Stick to the basic menu.

I've been happy with them for a few years .
Miffed because my hand-wash which has always been 5 stars ended in my new car having 2 scratches in my pristine paint. I'm having a difficult time letting it go.
People are friendly, pleasant and thorough as a rule. My problem is I see the scratches though small everything I exit my car. Black shows everything.

$75 for a had wash because I have a storage on top I get it but I could have done this myself and better. As a matter of fact when I got home I had to wipe some things down. Over priced for a car rinse..

Do not provide these people any business. I just found a $69 fraudulent charge by this business on my card. They won’t take Apple Wallet, insist on a physical card which is used for theft. I’m notifying the police department next

Brought my car here on a Saturday morning and got the 149 dollar interior and exterior package.
I requested the service since I haven't had the time to clean and treat the leather interior, so I figured they would do a great job for the price. I am aware that this place isn't exactly a precision detailing shop, but nevertheless I figured something is better than nothing.
I was disappointed for several reasons, the first, I was never told that my car was done. It was just sitting on the side, I was on the premise the whole time listening to the PA system for call outs and I never heard my car being called. It was just sitting on the side and I had to ask one of their employees what the deal was.
When I got in my car, I wasn't even mad, I was just disappointed at how cheap and quick the job was performed, the seats were horribly oily and slippery, the overspray all over the mirrors and center consoles, steering wheel. They didn't even clean the Alcantara trimming, in fact, it looked worse because it is now shiny and matted.
The saving grace is that the exterior looks really good, or so I thought. When I got home there was several spots that weren't buffed in all the way, the wheels were still really dirty and the aftermarket front camera on the bumper was seemingly unclipped and no one told me about it. (Luckily I just clipped it back into place).
2 stars instead of 1 because at least most of the car was clean. If I had paid the standard 60-70 bucks for the wash wax and vacuum, I may have been okay with it. But for double the price? Yeah, never again. Just gonna buck up and go to a real detailer.
I wanted to ask for at least a partial refund but I just did not have the energy after waiting for over an hour for this disappointing end result.

I got a car wash today and requested the ultimate. I was talked into the membership given that it was only a few dollars more. I received my car and when I got home I noticed the trunk was not touched despite the car wash I requested had trunk vacuumed and wiped. I totally understand that everyone is working as fast as they can, but there were barely any cars when I came in earlier. I just cancelled my membership. When I called and explained, I was told that the trunks aren't cleaned unless you ask. The type of car wash has listed that trunk is vacuumed and despite that, I've never heard of a car wash not cleaning a trunk. I had nothing back there and just had a little dirt in the cupholder hoping that it would be wiped. There were other spots on the exterior of the car that weren't washed well either.
