I have very usual coloring on my hair, but it turned out perfectly! And I loved how my hair was reshaped to add volume! I would highly recommend Avital.

I asked for 2 inches just a trim, and long curtain bangs, and she took off 6 inches and I have never seen such choppy jagged layers before. I don't have any face framing. My stylist was new because she had another person check her work at the end. I'm giving such low stars because that person then signed off even though my hair looked so bad. If you do go here, I'd highly recommend asking for a senior stylist. I would have said something earlier but when I saw it , the damage had already been done. I gave it two weeks to grow out hoping it would soften but I ended up having to even it out myself.

I searched for a salon near me. this one came up. I called and talked to Billy. He assured me that he can do what I wanted. I walked in and it was love at first sight! This guy was so cool and did a perfect job, He's my new forever guy.

Avital is amazing--both the person and the beauty lounge. :) I've been getting waxed by Avital for years now; and I trust her to have an extremely high standard of quality, to provide thoughtful and honest guidance (around what I can do to get the results I'm looking for), and to always go above and beyond with her service. (No straggler hair here!) It's also just a joy to chat with her and team -- there's no bad vibes at the lounge ever; everyone is friendly, considerate, easy to talk to, down to earth. I like that this is a place I can go to get beauty advice and products without being sold to or made uncomfortable. Because of this, outside of monthly waxes, I've also had a very informative makeup lesson and gotten an impressive haircut by Rachael. (She knows her stuff!) Couldn't recommend the team at Avital Beauty Lounge more.

After giving my hairdresser two more tries in giving me a good haircut - I cut my ties with her and went to see Rachael. Rachael took on the challenge and did a great job in correcting and blending the layers. I really thought she would have had to cut all of it off, but she worked her magic and I could not be more pleased. I recently went back to have partial highlights and Rachael again did a great job..

I was very excited when I came across this business since my daughter is getting married in Walnut Creek and we live in San Jose we were looking for someone to help with hair & make up, I contacted them more then 2 months ago!! She said they don't take appointments more then a month out! I even offer to pay 50% of the services upfront so that I wouldn't have to worried about that part anymore! Well she said they couldn't do that that I needed to contact them a month out, so I contact them Aug 13th and guess what exactly a month out and they are booked!! That totally leaves me in a bad place because she made it sound like we could get in but I needed to book a month out! I guess she never had an intention on taking, 8 girls for make up and 8 girls for hair! Bummer don't know what I'm going to do now I just wish a different conversation would have happened. The reason for my 1 star is because of poor communication when she knew this was for a wedding! Who's booked on a Tuesday??

Literally a holy grail hidden. I wouldn’t not have found this place had it not been for Yelp an then good reviews. This place is somewhat hidden off the Main Street. There is no parking at all. You must park an walk to them. They squeezed me in extremely fast for a hair cut. Being a mom an not always having the time to oneself for some self care time is hard. I loved that I was able to email them. Making communication easy for me on my time. They responded back promptly and accommodated me. I already felt like they cared but felt even better leaving with a simply amazing cut. I also want to point out that they are one of the few places that list prices and they are well within reason too. Rachel was fantastic an even gave me tips to keep trimming my bangs which was super sweet an helpful. The music was soft an relaxing. The hair wash wasn’t rushed. I think I found my hair salon. Just wish I had found them sooner!

Shuzea did an amazing job on my 4c hair and I'm so glad that my previous stylist kept cancelling! I honestly think it was a fate hahaha. I reached out last minute since I was so excited to dye my hair and the person who I had my original appointment with kept cancelling. Avital was so kind and accommodating and was able to take me on short notice and connect me with the person that was best suited for doing my hair. For context this was the first time I dyed my 4C hair and Shuzea did a great job detangling my hair in the most gentle way possible. We chose to do a tint to minimize damage and not strip my hair. The result was a reddish brown that is most visible in the sunlight. I should also mention that she did an amazing job twisting my hair as well since I usually wear my hair in twists or a pineapple

This place is GREAT! They are clean, organized, efficient, and their products aren't full of toxic chemicals. Ileana cut and colored my hair and she is fantastic! She is so sweet, attentive to detail, and great at what she's does. Everyone here truly has a passion for hair and beauty. I highly recommend!

So grateful to have discovered Avital Beauty Lounge. I made a last minute styling appointment before my bridal shower and Iliyana was incredible! She completely understood the look I was going for and had the gentlest hands of any hair stylist I have been to. The style came out perfectly and everyone kept commenting on how good my hair looked at the shower. Thank you!!

The always classy and sassy Missy always makes my hair look stunning. Avital, the owner, is an amazingly kind, generous, and stunning woman. Their prices are reasonable and I'm always in love at the end!
