This Barnes & Noble is located in a prime spot on the corner in downtown Walnut Creek, right at the heart of all the shopping. It is next to parking garages and kiddy corner to the Cheesecake Factory. The store is sleek, clean, and organized. It is a smaller location but manages to have a decent selection, chock full of their signature wide-ranging book selection with many books to choose from, including new releases. There are plenty of books and gifts for readers as well as games and puzzles, with board games presented prominently near the front. The store has a good flow with plenty of space between shelves. Multiple promotional tables showcase varied titles and different genres. The staff is friendly and helpful. During busy times like the Holidays, the line moves quickly even when long. It is a cute store with events.

I'm biased, because I love any bookstore. However, they moved the location in walnut Creek, and now it's right at the heart of all the shopping, and next to two parking garages, which was lovely. Kiddy corner to the Cheesecake Factory, an added bonus.
