Embassy Suites by Hilton is nestled in Walnut Creek. It's a business style hotel. We arrived on Monday night. The weather was chilly. It was really cold inside my room. I couldn't get it to warm up at all. Housekeeping didn't leave me any towels. Which was really odd. I called down to the front desk. They immediately came with towels. They couldn't do anything about the heater. I snuggled down for a long cold night. The next morning, I went down to get breakfast. They make waffles, pancakes and omelets to order. They also provide fresh fruits, yogurt, oatmeal, variety of cereals and juice. Coffee wasn't that bad either. Our meeting was located just next door, so it was very convenient for my stay. I checked out the pool and the gym area. Nice size pool and a well maintained gym. The rooms were comfortable. Separate living room with a full sofa, big screen tv, desk and a kitchenette. Bathroom was normal. Water got super hot. The bedroom was 2 queen beds, big screen tv, another desk with great lighting. Few things that I didn't like. Everyone has technology devices that need power. There wasn't enough outlets for my devices. I needed 6 outlets or 3 outlets and 3 usb ports. However, only 2 outlets were available near the bed and 1 additional usb port. All the other outlets either didn't work or were capped off. After my complaint concerning the heat, I didn't want to be that girl so I just deal with it. Not fully charging my devices during my business stay. Secondly, the carpet is in need of replacing. Very old and outdated. Stained in some areas. Lastly, they offer a business area where you can login to your email and print. I really needed to print a document for my meeting. The computer has a message saying it will be done for 30 minutes. I leave and come back. Same message is on the screen. I inquire at the front desk, how much longer before the computer is back online. They tell me that it's been broken for over 2 months. Oh My Gosh ! Why doesn't it just say broken or simply turn it off. This Hilton hotel charges way too much for things not to be working. The receptionist was nice enough to print my document as I was in distress. Please fix the computer for the next person who may need to get on and use it at the last minute.

Beautiful and spacious. I've stayed here a few times and I enjoyed it. The breakfast was great. I would stay there again.

You have been warned. Long read but horror story. We booked a suite (over $400) in advance and showed up at 5pm, mind you check ins at 4. Front desk says the room isn't ready it'll be 5 minutes. 30 minutes later they say our rooms ready. We go up to the room open the door and immediately smell the strong odor of vomit and cleaning solution coming heavily from the room but mainly the bathroom. At first I'm like whatever, I'll just run the shower on hot for 10 mins and try and get rid of the smell. I get it people party, but then one of my kids says "Dad the beds wet", I go over to check, confirm it's wet and to my absolute disgust it smells like vomit!I called the front desk to speak with a manager. An employee later comes in the room and I ask are you the manager to which she replies YES. I go over my complaint with her and she proceeds to deny the smell. I have her feel the bed and she denies it's wet. Only after I tell her she's wrong and to have her sit on the wet spot does she acknowledge it's wet. She lays out my options, have them change the sheets, change suites which will wake another hour because none of the other rooms our size have been cleaned yet, or get a refund. I tell her I'll let her know in 5 minutes.I weigh my options, decide I don't want to wait another hour for a different room and I don't trust they'll actually clean it correctly after this first mishap so I decide on a refund.I call the front desk and say "Hey, I just spoke with the manager and I'd like a refund for my room." She says I'm the manager and I didn't speak with you. I now go on to explain the situation to her and she comes up to the room. She examines the room and feels the bed confirms it's wet, but refuses to smell the wet spot (almost like she's been through this before). She agrees to give us a refund. We grab our bags, go downstairs and the front desk said everything is taken care of and you'll be receiving the refund in 3 to 4 business days. Now the big problem, the 4 business days have passed and still no refund. Because we went through a third party vendor, they contact the front desk who says we checked in but no refund was issued. The front desk informed the vendor we stayed the whole night which is a complete lie (check the cameras) and there is no refund for the room. Do not book this place unless you want to check in an hour and a half after you've started paying for the room, want to sleep on dirty vomit sheets that haven't been changed from the previous stay, want your kids to sit in vomit, and they to refuse to give your money back even though they said a refund has been issued. There is some serious quality control issues happening at this place from the product they're putting out to how complaints are being handled.

Great location for where we needed to visit. This hotel is definitely an older building. Not all elevators are working. Carpets are dark and appear dirty. Face towels were missing from the room. You receive one bottle of water upon your arrival. And drink coupons are given to you to redeem for Happy Hour. The rooms are simple. Drawers don't open and appear broken. Carpet is dark and old as well. There's at least a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Very convenient to heat up food or leftovers. The bathroom also is in need of an update/repair. The tub basin has pieces of it coming off. Shower head is not removable. On the up side, there is a complimentary breakfast and Happy Hour included with your room fee here. The breakfast is a lifesaver as it's really cold and rainy in the morning. I wish the hotel would provide trays to bring the food up to your room. Made to order omelettes here, fresh fruit, hot oatmeal, muffins, and more for breakfast. The Happy Hour is very simple, a drink coupon and basic chips, dip, or vegetable sticks. Overall, this is not a luxury or updated hotel to stay. It provides your basic needs. Parking is $30 overnight. You may park next door at public parking at 2929 Oak St. For $12.00 a night. You will need to download the app. 3 out of 5 stars

Boy, where do I start... FIRST: The service. Every single staff member - from valet to concierge to servers were PERFECT. We had a bit of a mishap at the valet area and all three posted there dropped everything to help us. That truly helped with how quickly that was resolved. (We made sure to tip well!) The concierge made it easy to check in and made sure to remind us that we had free drinks at the bar, "but get there ASAP since there's only about an hour left." (Yes. We took advantage of THAT!) Our server at the restaurant was friendly and efficient even with a bit of the crowd. He was pretty strategic when making his rounds to make sure he got everyone and everyone had what they need. SECOND: The room. It looked and smelled clean. Ditto the bathroom. Other than a small crack on the sink, it was perfect. THIRD: Their complimentary continental breakfast. Great selections of fruit, bread, cereal, drinks, food. The cherry on top was the omelette station. Whaaaaattt?!?LAST: The hotel overall. I love the open area all throughout. They don't have those hallway type walkways: it really is just open. It's almost a claustrophobic's dream. And not a single piece of clutter anywhere. It almost made me wanna stay one more night! Excellent EXCELLENT run. Highly recommending this for those needing accommodations around this area.

The embassy suites in Walnut Creek is a solid four star. Plenty of couches and seating on the first floor! You know I hadn’t been to an embassy suites since I worked for one way back in the day and we came here in Dec 2023 and was reminded how great it is to have a one bedroom suite with two different TVs and a couch area.My wife and I are digital nomads and we need to work in separate rooms so we need quiet. this was perfect for that.Breakfast is included and it’s a hot buffet with coffee omelettes etc. As well as they give you 2 drinks at happy hour. Very nice!Nice gym and pool area!A couple cons, in the downstairs bathrooms, they ran out of soap in both M/F.Noise, we were on the 8th floor which is a great view inside of the the atrium, however on the top floor there is some machinery you can hear in the corner room. So, if you like white noise this is probably ideal for you, if you really need quiet probably ask for a lower floor in the hotel.Either way, we really appreciated our stay at the Embassy Suites ($150-250 per night) and we will consider this one of the types of places we would come to again.Thank you ES for an all around good stay!PS Love to see recycling bins for plastic bottles and cans please ♻️Rooms: One bedroom suite

My best friend invited me to say at one of the suites in this hotel for her birthday with a group of girls. We had a blast! We called room service for an extra blanket and they gave it to us almost two minutes later. Overall, it was a great experience! It's a little expensive, but it's definitely worth it overall. One of my favorite memories with my childhood friend ❤️Rooms: Clean and well maintained. Everyone was super friendly!Safety: The room service guy walked in our room to give us our stuff. Was a little weird.. but he was super friendly and kind and he was definitely just doing his job:)

Loved the layout of our room, lots of plumbing issues that continuously needed to be addressed from start to finish of visit. The breakfast was fulfilling. Sausage was the only meat undercooked for my visual to want to taste. We enjoyed our stay, they have an inside pool which was a key reason for staying there during the December visit.Staff were pleasant. The entrance of work hours can be tricky when checking in if they too are busy. Meaning circling back. They have valllet service $30 per night or the parking garage, which they're not affiliated with, which was lesser thanOverall, the plumbing was my problem due to sand like substance clogging the bathroom sink and the tub, which room service has to be asked for the night prior.

I’ve been staying at embassy suites for quite some time now and this is my first time I’ve ever experienced terrible customer service. I was charged $250 for a deep cleaning. I spoke to the Front Desk Manager and she mentioned that there were rose petals and balloons left all over the room. They must of gotten the rooms mixed up because I did not have any of those things. When I check out, I always make sure that I leave it in good condition. I’m disappointed at the fact that Embassy Suites made this implication on me. I have asked for proof but that weren’t able to be shared that with me. Supposedly there’s no cameras in the premise, but how could that be? Apparently there was also a hole on the wall in my room. This must of been another room because I can assure you it was not mine. Sad to say that after this experience, I’ll be moving over to Marriott. I hope someone from corporate would have the decency to remove these charges, especially someone who regularly uses Embassy Suites for work travel. If there was a way to give 0 stars I would.

Great place. Rooms took a hit because our room had a cracked tile in the shower floor and we weren't able to use it. However Felicia at the front desk was so great at helping me get a replacement room and made sure everything was good to go after we got the new room. If you need anything during your stay ask for Felicia. She's a joy to talk to. Located right next to the Bart station but if you have a room next to the Bart tracks you can hear the train go by in the mornings even with triple pane windows.

Nice hotel and great staff. Liked the made to order omelets. Not a fan that they tell you it's valet only ($30/night). I found parking at the BART station for $3/day that's a 5min walk away. Also found some free overnight street parking by the surrounding restaurants (2hrs only 7am-8pm) that's 3-4 min walk away.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are good, the food is ok, and the elevators are ok. There are a lot of dog on my stay.

It's a place we like to visit for a quick weekend away. We can leave the kids with the grandparents and still be close enough to home if there is an emergency. The last time we visited, a fairly large group of kids was there as well. Perhaps for a sports event? There were children running in the halls, screaming, knocking on doors...all well past midnight. I called the front desk, though I feel like that is a call I shouldn't have had to make.

Expectations were fulfilled staying at the embassy <my preferred Hilton>. Right across from the rail metro which made direct travel to SFO perfectly easy. Would return.

The reception woman has no people skills! Why is a person like that working at the reception counter?!I wanted to ask for my money back and leave!I won’t stay here again! The lobby area looks ok but the rooms are a dump. Old, crusty, beat up and worn out. Furniture cheap, ugly and broken. Ugly dark patterned carpet. Furniture is stained. I wouldn’t sit on it without putting a towel on it. Windows are not clean. Front door and all doors are in bad shape.Door latch screw hanging out when I arrived. I had to use my Swiss Army knife to put screw back in. It doesn’t align and isn’t secure so I don’t feel secure.Safe doesn’t work. Have to have maintenance guy look at it and the latch. No stirring sticks for coffee. Non dairy creamers are all post dated.Vent in bathroom filthy.Just crusty.Breakfast ok, not great. Quality not good, just to fill you up.Coffee was terrible.Disappointed because they charge a lot, cut services and rooms are old, worn and crusty. And it’s in the suburbs of Walnut Creek! Haha Post pandemic that is even worse!$30 a night valet parking! You have to request room service the night before. Terrible. It’s a hotel! What do you think we are paying for? What do they do?Oh, and the lobby, breakfast area, all general spaces are freezing! Cold air is blowing out of the vents. It’s cold outside. This is blatant waste and an assault on the environment. With the money they are wasting on unnecessary and unchecked utilities, they could hire more service staff or put it towards remodeling the dilapidated rooms! The elevator buttons are broken. This place is a mess! You can get nice hotels in very nice area with top service, good food and for the same price or less in Europe.
