Waste of time and money! I’ve been sick; my doctor ordered a blood draw. I couldn’t leave my house so I waited TWO WEEKS for a draw. The night before, 10 minutes before closing (and of course after they stopped answering their phone), they canceled because they were “double-booked.” So I called the main exam one number. A rude woman named Rosetta told me I couldn’t have a refund because I was canceling within 24 hours of the appointment. Say what, now? She was too preoccupied with covering her own rear than helping me.AVOID THIS COMPANY! They are dreadful.

Tried to schedule an appointment here. No one answered the phone the first few times I called and was unable to leave a message because voice mailbox was full. When I was finally able to get hold of someone, they said they could not go the standard urine based drug test (for employment purpose). Now I understand why do many negative reviews.

Recently me and my husband had appointments for our life insurance medical exam . Our medical examiner was Beverly and we were absolutely satisfied with the service provided. She was very professional and courteous, made us both feel comfortable including my husband that normally gets very anxious in hospitals or any type of clinics. Thank you ExamOne!!!

Watch out with you need a blood draw. One of the ExamOne’s phlebotomist who made my left arm tingle when I bent or moved my left arm with strain. It was happened on 2/7/22. The lady came to my house to get the blood draw. When the lady inserted the needle into my left arm, I felt like an electric shock went through my arm. It was so painful which I had never experienced in my life. I had blood draw every year at Kaiser Permanente without a problem. After the blood draw, I felt tingle and electric shock sensation scattered my lower arm when I bent or moved my left arm with strain. When I touched the injection area, I also felt tingle and electric shock sensation scattered to my lower arm. I thought it would go away in few days. But it’s been more than 3 weeks. It has very little or no improvement. I think the lady damaged my nerve. And I am afraid that it will be forever or getting worse.I complained to Ashley Chen from ExamOne. She was apologetic but didn’t come out with any solution to address my issue. I asked her to give me the name of the phlebotomist but she didn’t.Now I experience the tingle every day not knowing if it will go away. So I decided to write a review to let everyone know about it. So if you really need to use ExamOne for blood draw, make sure you take a picture of the phlebotomist’s name badge just in case something happen to you. So you know who did it to you.

I am writing this in hopes that management will make badly needed changes. Unfortunately, this is only one of 2 locations in the Bay Area that does blood draw for Vital Tears. Living in the city, I have to rent a car to get all the way to Walnut Creek, so it's not something I can just pick up and do; it takes planning. The first time I went, I didn't realize that I needed an appointment and was turned away. My bad. The second time I had an appointment, arrived, waited while they had no idea who I was nor had my requisition (fortunately I had it in my email.) Seeming to do me a favor, they took me. This is the kind of place where you walk in a wait and wait because no one is manning the front desk, and then someone finally comes reluctantly. The blood draw took incredibly long as the clinician was chatty and seemed to not have anything else to do than regale me with heroic personal tales of phlebotomy. An annoyance, but, okay, fine. For my second round of vital tears, I called again to make an appointment. I was transferred around three times until I arrived at someone who didn't apparently know how to work their scheduling system, asked ridiculous, repetitive questions, and was generally sassy and disrespectful. I could hear someone in the background coaching her, so I tried to be patient-- probably a new employee without many computer skills. When I arrived today, they had no record of my appointment. I sat in the waiting room for fifteen minutes while they tried to figure it out. Mind you, there is no. one. else. there. No other patients. No busy waiting room. No one. Their heating system was blasting on high, I mean, it was really, really noticeably hot. A clinician came out again after fifteen minutes and said they had at least found my req and were willing to see me today. Then they took my temperature and decided I had "a fever" and would not be able to see me. One hour prior, I had been a doctor's appointment and had a normal temperature. But I wanted to be respectful of everyone's COVID concerns, and left politely. I went straight to Target and bought a digital thermometer. As suspected: I did not have a fever, I was just hot from their baking indoor heating use. A day and a rental car fee wasted. Needless to say, from now on I am going to drive all the way to Santa Clara, which is even farther, and not mess with this garbage fire ever again.

Medical examiners need more training. I am traumatized from the blood draw. The examiner came to my house and therefore did not have extra bandaids or alcohol prep pads for the extra spots that she had to poke me. Sterile technique was not used and I am left with a bruised arm. Last name is not provided. Minimal information provided prior to the exam. I would encourage you all to go elsewhere if you could.

I can't even explain how little this company--especially Jennifer Wilson--cares about patients. I left more than seven messages and several emails over the course of over two weeks, and not one was returned. The people who pick up the phone were quite sympathetic, but were also frustrated that we couldn't get answers. Please go to ANY OTHER company!

Called Exam One to schedule an mobile exam for my life insurance. A woman named Natalie answered the phone. She seemed annoyed that I even called. She was very curt and rude towards me, like she was having a horrible day and wanted to take it out on me!! The worst person I have encountered on the phone in quite some time: Manners matter! :)

They get 1 Star. The examiners are actually great. The customer service at the office is NOT. Very rude and not helpful at all. They talk down to you as if you should already know all the answers.... well it is their job to help customers find those answers. Piss poor attitude!!
