After seven months of dealing with this boutique, my feelings are a mix of honesty and facts. The staff, especially Iyanna and Cynthia, are helpful and kind. However, the owners adopt typical sales tactics, pressuring customers to make immediate purchases with false claims of dresses being on backorder for 6+ months, which isn't true (my dress came in three weeks) . Despite marketing themselves as a high-end bridal boutique, they don't even offer champagne or refreshments of any kind and do not accept American Express or offer payment plans. They charge for appointments and upon picking up your dress, they won't even steaming it. The final disappointment was receiving a cheap, felt like garment bag after spending a significant amount of money. Even David's bridal provides durable,Protective bags. Requesting an extra garment bag incurs an additional $25 fee, although they will lie and say they don't have any additional bags. All of these tactics highlighting their tendency to penny-pinch despite already over priced dresses. Don't be misled by their Instagram marketing, this place is not the greatest brid.

This place is really the best, Lisa is so helpful and friendly, she keeps following up with me and nade me feel home and comfortable.They have a lot of options, they aslo customize. So happy with my experience with flares bridal.

Very disappointing experience. I found the designer and style of a gown I want to try on. This bridal shop apparently carries it. So I sent a message requesting to make a "mid week" appt. Their website advertises no charge appointments for 60 min time slots. I only want to try on 1 dress. I am coming for 1 dress and 1 dress only. I DO NOT want to try on multiple gowns. I received a call from I assume the shop owner or manager. The first thing she did after I answered was put me on hold. You call me and put me on hold? She proceeded to put me on hold 4 separate times during our 3 min conversation. She ultimately told me I cannot make an appt without paying (even though their website clearly states mid week 60 min appts are no charge). She refused to make me an appt and told me I would have to call the morning of the day I want to come in to see if they have any appts available. I live in Southern California, approximately a 7 hour drive to this location. I will be in the Bay Area and requested a mid week appt. Still received refusal unless I paid. This place has horrible customer service! You just lost a $4500 sale because you refused to make me an appt!! Their website is false advertising. You will never be able to make a mid week no charge appt because they never have them available. Such a shame this shop takes advantage of brides during their big day!

UPDATE: Looks like there are a lot of other one and two star reviews with the same themes of feeling rushed and impersonal service. Looks like I'm not alone! TLDR: Great place but unfortunate experience and series of events. Flares Bridal is really pretty, and is a great atmosphere to find your dream dress. There are a lot of options and the platform/atmosphere is magical. The reason my review is low is because despite being a nice place, my experience was discomforting at the end. I take fault for not stepping out earlier and going to a different bridal spot, but that's how life goes and Yelp is where we share our personal experiences after the fact. I'd like to preface that there are both positive and negative reviews of different aspects below, all averaging to the review of: OK I was paired with Lissa and my dress appointment felt extremely rushed. I totally understand the idea of trying on different kinds straight away to narrow down the style, but it felt more like we were pressed on time rather than me being helped. Ultimately we found my dress, but it didn't feel like a peaceful process. Lissa definitely listens to your feedback, but the overall experience felt like a lot being thrown at me without much control. Given I'm not a confrontational person, so I take some fault in letting this happen, but I hope others have a stronger voice to take their time and explore options. My mom couldn't attend the initial appointment due to an emergency surgery, which Lissa was very kind to my request to try on the dresses again to recreate the process with my mom when she had healed. We didn't end up actually scheduling this but Lissa was very accommodating and we appreciate that. Moving forward, attending my alteration appointment, Lissa was very busy handling a website system error over the phone that sounded stressful. Even from my dress appointment she seemed busy doing lots of things, really fast, at once. I share this context for the full picture of what might've contributed to the quality of service described below. My big wedding got cancelled due to unfortunate family circumstances. I shared this and inquired of return policies, even though I knew the sales most likely were final. She confirmed they were final, but I guess part of me was hoping for some above and beyond customer service or at least a suggested solution, even if that solution was outside of their shop (i.e. if I wanted to get money back, I could resell items, etc), but I understand the technicalities weren't on my side and that's not her fault. While I am understanding of this, I didn't appreciate Lissa's behavior after. When I asked to cancel the alterations that were processed minutes ago, realizing I don't want to spend this much for a big celebration that's not happening, Lissa murmured something under her breath - something obviously out of frustration but definitely directed towards me. She was still multitasking with the website system support, so I can imagine the frustration she already had built up especially since I had asked initially about returns, but the murmuring wasn't necessary and made me feel awful. I questioned if maybe this was towards the system guy and not me, but after reading other reviews it probably was towards me. Continuing from this, I heard her continue on the phone with the website system person apologizing, saying that she wasn't expecting a customer *insert paraphrasing of what I was doing in a negative tone*. Again, not sure if this was towards me or the other guest inside (which wouldn't be appropriate either way) but the other reviews validate it. I'm aware that I'm causing more work, and boy I wish I still had my big wedding planned and was more decisive about the alterations, but wished there was more respect or understanding from her end. The outcome didn't need to change, but the communication could've been much better.

Amazing experience all around. I went two times to try on dresses and Ray and Cynthia were both so fantastic. Extremely personable and really thoughtful in helping me narrow down on exactly what I was looking for. The shop is adorable and such a good vibe. Would highly recommend to find your dream wedding dress!!

Literally the best experience, dress consultant, and atmosphere I could have ever asked for! Lets just start from the beginning. Before I even booked my appointment Flares was so helpful with answering my questions over the phone about dresses, budgets, appointments and styles. From there is was so easy to book my appointment and they were so accommodating as I brought a semi big group with me (7 people including myself). Once we got to our appointment we were greeted and my consultant had a one on one with me to ask what my vision was for my dress and my budget. From there we were given some "tags" to pick dresses for me to try on as well as she would pull some she thought I would like as well. I loved that we also got to choose some that caught our eye and were shown the areas that would be my budget. Two things I want to make absolutely clear. One: she made me feel SO incredibly comfortable and beautiful. If anyone has already gone to look at dresses it is a pretty intimate experience with your consultant and could turn into a real depressing time if not handled the right way. With trying on a dress sample size that is too small or trying to zip it up, it could go down hill real fast. I felt so comfortable while changing from different dresses. Also so heard about what my likes and dislike were with each dress I tried on. Second thing and probably the thing I appreciated the absolute most. My stylist NEVER strayed from my budget. I had beautiful dresses in a variety of styles and fabrics that were ALL in my budget. I did find my dress at Flares :) It was the 5th one I tried on and I, as well as my family, were obsessed with it and still am. (I just picked it up yesterday haha) Not only did I pick my dress but was paired with a beautiful veil and attached sleeves that matches the lace of the dress perfectly. All by different designers, my stylist knew instantly what would go together to achieve the look I was looking for. I can not wait to come back on here with a photo from my wedding day to showcase the beautiful dress Flares helped me find. Thank you so much to the team there and especially my stylist, I really wish I remembered her name because not only did she help me find my dream dress but made the whole experience one I will never forget :)

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt like an entire princess. The entire process of finding my dream wedding gown was nothing short of magical, thanks to the wonderful team at Flares Bridal. My entourage and I were welcomed with open arms, and every moment spent browsing through their vast selection of gowns was an absolute delight. No matter what style or design I had in mind, Flares Bridal had an array of options to choose from, ensuring that every bride's unique taste is catered to. One aspect that truly stood out to me was how my price point was respected throughout the entire experience. The team at Flares Bridal made sure to consider my budget without compromising on the quality or elegance of the gowns available. I must give a special shoutout to Lisa, whose exceptional service went above and beyond to make me feel truly special and honored. Her expertise and genuine care made the process effortless and enjoyable, and I cannot thank her enough for her assistance. In conclusion, my time at Flares Bridal was nothing short of wonderful. I had a great experience at Flares Bridal. Everyone was so warm and welcoming! It was my first time trying on dresses and Ayanna made me feel so comfortable. She made it so much fun! Can't wait to go back and find my perfect dress!!

One word RYMONDA !!!I went dress shopping with my Best Friend 2 months before my wedding and as soon as I was checking in, the Manager Rymonda greeted me and said she would like to personally assist me so I can find my Dream dress since my day is coming up quick . This is the 3rd bridal shop I've gone to and honestly have had great experiences so I kinda knew what to expect, but somehow she exceeded all my prior expectations.Rymonda was very sweet, nice and calm from the beginning. I told her my budget and the styles I was looking for. She let us pick the dresses we thought we're nice and she selected her shares. I KID YOU NOT, the first dress that I tried on was just beautiful and thought it may be the one, but she said try the other ones we picked so I don't feel like I settled, the dresses we picked were great but the one she hand picked was the ONE!!! I don't know how she understood what l was envisioning in my head better than I did but this woman has a gift ! I love that she stayed and respected my budget and worked with it and still somehow pick the most absolute perfect dress. She was never pushy and even gave me advice and tips on my whole look for my special day.I purchased my dream wedding dress that same day & I absolutely would recommend Rymonda to all my friends and Family!!I hope that Rymonda stays in the business for a long time so she can help many many more brides find their Dream Wedding Dress like she helped me.

Brides, go here!!After 5 boutiques and trying 40 dresses, I said YES at Flares! As a curvy bride, I was in tears on the way to Flares thinking I'd never find my dress. I went to an exclusively plus size shop before here and had an awful experience so I was thrilled when I walked into Flares and immediately got such great service.Lissa worked me in last minute and was SO kind. Cynthia helped me find my dress while making it fun and made me feel so comfortable. She also respected my budget and helped steer me away from options that I'd spot that were gorgeous, but unaffordable for me rather than trying to push me to splurge like other shops did.I can't stop thinking about my dress and can't wait to wear it! Thank you so much Lissa, Cynthia and everyone at Flares!!! I'll always remember this incredible experience <3

I found my wedding dress at Flares Bridal with the help of Lissa who actually recommended the dress after seeing what I had picked to try on, and it complemented my body type and looked great on me. I am so thankful! I went to another bridal shop where everything I tried on seemed to be made for someone very slim with no hips or any fat around their mid-section (I’m 5’4 and 153lbs for reference). What I enjoyed about Flares, is you can go around and pick your own dresses to try on rather than having someone else pick things for you that they think you might like. They’ve also been very accommodating in making sure they are available when I am able to come into town from Southern CA for the dress pick up and initial try on, to the hemming, and the same-day final alteration appointment. They’ve also been very friendly every time I’ve called as well. I would definitely recommend checking out Flares in your search for a wedding dress! :)

I went dress shopping with my mom and two friends. Flares is great spot! It was super cute inside and has a huge variety of dresses. Ray helped us out and was so sweet and helpful. I am so excited about my dress and feel like everything I tried on was pretty reasonably priced. They also do in house alterations which is super convenient. I plan to decide on a veil when I go back to pick up my dress. I highly recommend Flares Bridal!!

What a great experience with such beautiful dresses. It was my first time trying on a dress and Rymonda was fabulous. I showed her maybe 3 dresses from my phone and the first one she grabbed was gorgeous... and it her about 4-5 to find my perfect dress!!! Thanks to Rymonda for making this experience so fun, easy and just perfect for me!
