Today, I went in and Elizabeth was great! They weren't very busy and she went above and beyond to help me. Her manager, Andrea, even offered me my post b'day discount since I did not get any notification in my inbox. They were both so amazing, I ended up buying a pair of sandal and ordered a turtleneck shirt off the internet with even better discount when you order in store. It's a hit and miss at Madewell in terms of service, but this evening, they were amazing and I really want to be sure Madewell knows this. Thank you!

They will not acknowledge you if your unless your . “Whatever we have out on the floor.” Lol Yes right smh I checked online it was in store. They don’t want to help. Minutes goes by someone else walk in right after yep ? different interaction and customer service. Please treat everyone equally. ?

I walked into Madewell today just looking for jeans. It was quiet and empty in the front of the store but I still grabbed two jeans and a top. When I reached the middle of the store, Alice found me and immediately relieved my arm and put my items in a dressing room. She was so friendly, kind, attentive, fashionable, super knowledgeable, and honestly a breath of fresh air! She gave several recommendations and I ultimately only walked out with a purchase because of Alice’s service. it takes me a while to find the right jeans so I never buy the first time trying also because I need sizes that the store doesn’t carry. In the end I did buy the jeans that she suggested I try on that I wouldn’t have grabbed myself! She was absolutely fantastic, I truly wish there were more Alice’s in retail nowadays.

I avoid ever going into any Madewell. Lol The friendliness of the workers are non existent, unless maybe you look a certain way. You walk in and they aren't busy and they see you and don't say hi. Then I hear them suddenly say hi to another group of people that walk in. Hmmmm I wonder why. Because they look the same. I won't mention race, but it should be obvious at this point. It's pretty much like this even at the San Ramon location in the city center. I don't spend money where I don't feel welcomed. You can at least pretend to be nice. That's part of the insisted you work in. CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I love this location!! Every time I've come to Madewell I feel welcomed in and the employees are very attentive. I've been able to find both men and women's clothes that fit well and are of great quality. I even asked for the employees names, Ashley and Alexis, so people can see how lovely they are!!

Nicole was THE ABSOLUTE BEST! She was so kind and so helpful. We loved every single item she recommended and ended up buying more than we initially planned ? but I’m so glad to have found this store because Madewell Men’s is so rare and it’s also so rare to find such a kind, sweet staff like Nicole.

I've been going to Madewell since a store opened in University Village in WA state. Madewell has been my primary shopping place. Today, I just left the store having the worse experience in my retail history. The cashier asked for my Insider email. I repeated it several times but she couldn't seem to type it correctly. Then her very sarcastic co-cashier to her left said in a very rude manner that was she was typing was correct. I've never, ever had issues with my email before today. Then magically, she finally got it right. The rudeness of both cashiers are absolutely unacceptable!! I will never ever go in to this Walnut Creek Madewell ever again!!

Typically the interactions I've had at this location are fairly good. Unfortunately today my interaction with the store manager Bernadette was poor. There was a misunderstanding with a return process, unfortunately the store manager Bernadette did not handle it well whatsoever. Her tone of voice, body language, and eye contact were hostile and unprofessional. Bernadette didn't seek to solve the issue at hand or maintain any level of integrity. What a shame Madewell.

I've been here multiple times and everyone is very nice and welcoming ! Today Erin was able to order me some new pants since they didn't have them in my size ! In so excited and appreciated her kindness during my transaction! Honestly all the ladies I've ever been helped by are amazing !Hope to be back soon !
