It was so cool seeing the farm animals and hearing the roosters! Note the bathroom is at the picnic area parking lot. It could be a bit chilly hear in the afternoon, so bring a jacket.

Nice, quiet place in Walnut Creek. Perfect for a walk with the kids or for a hike. Parking is free.

This was a pleasant surprise while we were out for a walk while visiting my sister. It’s just a preserved ranch. I was not expecting to see this on the walk, but I was glad it came up. It’s always nice to come across a piece of preserved local history, it has everything from blacksmith to schoolhouse on the premises.
