The manager, David, and staff member Tessa are so knowledgeable and helpful. This store is the best Petco I’ve visited and I travel in an rv and have been in many Petco stores. Their recommendations and care and concern have helped my dog, Lucy, get the best food and treats for her health. Her skin is shinier and she sheds less and she is so much healthier thanks for Walnut Creek / South California Blvd, store. I am so impressed with this Petco and how the store is managed and how their staff is trained to provide excellent customer service. The staff cares and connects with the customers. So impressive. Thank you for helping me and Lucy. I appreciate you!

A nice grooming for Lila.
I am Not Satisfied with the work done cutting Lila's. Too long. Very little removed as I still hear the nails tapping on my hard surface flooring. In the past, no sound after grooming.

For my dog supplies this spot is my go too but for my fish keeping hobby this spot is very disappointing there is always dead fish and on the occasion there wasn't any dead fish in the tank I wanted a fish out of I would get them home and they would die more times than not my tank is fully established and water is on point I Been fish keeping for decades they really should step there game up in tracy they are the only shop to buy fish in town I have to go to stockton, Hayward or San Francisco to go to a real fish keepers paradise

Only place I get all my pet stuff- the staff are knowledgeable, the pets are in good temporary setups, and taken care of every morning, and refreshed every evening. The groomers are friendly, the staff love helping, and know what you need when you need it. The only thing I'd critique is maybe Petco needs to get them a custodian, as the associate or managers have to clean the restrooms, and there is no way to polish or mop the floor quickly. But they care! I met one at the front who (while holding a new baby bumblebee python) said she had been scrubbing fish tanks, gave me advice for caring for the wheatgrass I bought, and helped me understand a little more about my kitties' food, and their dietary needs. Photos included are of the very happy and sweet parakeets they have right now, and the new snake as he came in! By the way, the guinea pigs are not living in squalor or malnourished, they are just messy creatures and those guinea pigs are hairless naturally. They're hairless guinea pigs, haha And the birds aren't plucking their feathers- they're preening. It's how they keep clean, especially during molting season. If a bird was plucking they'd be bald by the time that silly lady noticed it was happening. Remember to take the things you read online with a grain of salt, and do your research before trying to ruin a business and people's livelihoods.

I bought some worms, brought them home, and found that 25 out of the 50 worms were dead. I brought back the dead worms the next day, and the associate offered me 50% off if I bought a new batch of worms.
