They repeatedly misled me about pick up times. Initially told 30-60 minutes and after a hour they said driver was 10 minutes away until I had waited over 2 hours. They would put me on hold and leave me there without updates until the system hangs up automatically after waiting 15 minutes. Truly an unreliable service. Maybe I’ll post an update if they ever arrive.
Update: after telling me they were late because of traffic, it turns out driver got in an accident. They were just blaming traffic without talking to the driver and putting me on hold with hopes I would go away. Cancelled job after two hours of waiting when they said it would be another 90 minutes. Avoid this company at all costs.

My car wouldn't start in the parking lot near Clayton Road after work, so I called Shield Towing for a jumpstart. The service was awesome! The driver arrived faster than I expected and got my car running in no time. He was super friendly and even checked my battery to make sure it was in good shape.
The only hiccup was that they could improve their communication a bit. I didn't get a confirmation call that someone was on the way, so I was a little unsure if help was coming. But in the end, the quick and helpful service was great. I'd use these guys again without hesitation.

I got a flat tire on the freeway by Pleasant Hill and called these guys for help. They were great! The driver arrived quickly and got to work right away. He was really knowledgeable and even gave me some tips on maintaining my tires.
The only downside was that the dispatcher didn't give me an accurate ETA, so I was a bit worried about how long it would take. But overall, the fast and efficient service made up for it. I'll definitely call Shield Towing again if I need help in the future.

I had to get my car towed over Trader Joe's in Four Corners recently and called these guys over Shield Towing. Overall, I was really happy with their service. The driver was super professional and handled my car with a lot of care, which I really appreciated.
One thing they could improve on is their response time. It took a bit longer for them to get to me than I expected.
Despite that, I'd definitely call this company again if I needed a tow. Their professional attitude and careful handling of my car made up for the wait.

This company is a fraud. I agree with all the other one star reviews. They probably over book to try to get a $49 cancellation fee. My experience was that nobody ever showed up and when I called to tell him that I already got home they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. This was 6 and 1/2 hours after I called. They told me it would be 10 to 20 minutes after I called the first time. After 1 hour I called again and they told me the same thing that it was going to be 10 to 20 minutes until somebody showed up. I told the lady on the phone that I would give them 20 minutes and then I'll get a ride home. I never canceled, because nobody ever showed up. Later when I got home I called them to tell them that nobody showed up and somebody called me 6 and 1/2 hours later. They continued to tell me that it's going to be a cancellation fee. How can you charge somebody a cancellation fee after 6 and 1/2 hours when nobody showed up? This company is a fraud and should be reported to the better Business bureau. Good luck all of you stranded drivers out there.

I called Shield Towing to help me bring my car to an auto shop and they were very professional and efficient on getting me a driver. The driver was very nice and knowledgeable and the price was better than three other companies I called.

I book tow trucks daily for my job and have never had an experience as bad at this. They broker our the tow jobs and are not doing them with their own trucks. I worked with them to book a tow assist with a set appt time and set trailer type. I pre-paid and submitted all the info.They charged almost double what I usually pay but said they could be there at the set time with the right equipment. Unfortunately they were not being honest. A tow truck didn't show up until 2 hours after our set appt time and didn't bring the right trailer to do the job. I called the dispatcher to check on getting the right truck and they didn't even know what job I was talking about. I was on the phone over 10 minutes with them trying to help them find the job I had paid them for hours before.Another tow truck driver showed up almost 3 hours late having no idea he was late or about the other truck. Beyond charging for a service they did not provide the fact they couldn't even find an active order was shocking. If you have any other tow options besides Shield Towing I would suggest you take it.
