As a wedding photographer I work with many vendors but the Clubhouse at Boundary Oak stands out as one of the best in Northern Ca! The greens are beautiful and provide lovely backgrounds for photos. All of the food was exquisite and what impressed me the most was the ENTIRE staff! EVERYONE that works there is extremely professional and courteous (even to vendors).If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Bay Area be sure to visit the Clubhouse at Boundary Oak!

Angelique Taylor, the Director of Weddings & Events, is a gem! I'm a professional event planner with Rundles and Associates, and along with two other women, we've produced 12 events in 2023, so we have plenty of experience with on-site event planners. Angelique is a true professional in every sense of the word. Angelique is attentive, responsive (rare these days), knowledgeable about her venue and current trends, and always open to new ideas. I hope Boundary Oak truly understands the level of dedication and pride Angelique takes in her profession.

The staff were very pleasant & attentive. The venue was very clean including the ladies restroom, except 2 of the digital sinks were not completely operational. The dinner buffet was ok, the Chicken Picata was dry, needed more sauce, the Braised Beef was excellent, the Pasta Salad barely had dressing, rolls & butter very fresh, Scalloped Potatoes were very good, Caesar salad was good, steamed Squash needed more butter & the oatmeal raisin cookies & the chocolate chip cookies were very good. I was told one of alumni made the beautiful sugar cookies. All-in-All a great success.

I always enjoy my time golfing or even just hitting range balls at Boundary Oaks in Walnut Creek. I was especially pleased to get a tee time on Father's Day with my sons. We had a great time! The price value is so much better than golfing in Oakland or SF.

We went for dinner at The Grill and each had a terrific salad freshly made and served to us on their delightful outdoor patio overlooking our valley. As the sun set we enjoyed the gentle breezes and scarlet sky. We will be back to this hidden gem of a restaurant. Plenty of parking available.

My fiance and I have been planning our wedding for the past few months and, after careful consideration (and inquiries with many venues), have decided on the Clubhouse at Boundary Oak for the big day. The location itself is beautiful, and there is a selection of impressive wedding packages to choose from. The event staff has been incredibly helpful so far (especially Angelique!) - we have consistently, promptly gotten clear responses to our many questions throughout this process. We are looking forward to our spring wedding at Boundary Oak!!! :)

This place have a heart in me. Came here for my cousins wedding. This place is super fancy. The person who help set up was super nice and generous. I love them. They helped every guest to their assign seat. Food was good and thaitea was delicious

We recently had our wedding at Boundary Oak this past November. They were very easy to talk and plan with, and also very accommodating to work with our limited budget. They made sure to communicate with me as well as with our wedding coordinator, and were present day of to help with transportation of items as well. We did run into some golfers while taking photos at sunset, but they do close off the first tee during the ceremony.

Great experience. Called in my order from the 8th hole, there was only one person working in the clubhouse grilling and bartending and about 15-20 customers but this guy was absolutely killing it, I think he said his name was Caden. the food was ready hot, fresh and delicious in time to get to the 10th. Caden also made a great Bloody Mary

My husband and I had our wedding here in August 2022, we booked over a year in advance. When searching for venues one thing that was important was finding a place that could accommodate our cultural tweaks to our somewhat traditional wedding. Additionally, having day of coordination in house was something that we valued. The Clubhouse at Boundary Oak was the last venue we looked at and from the moment we saw it we knew it was the one. We loved the overall vibe, the location has a huge bridal suite which was important to me. The taphouse located downstairs for my husband and his groomsmen to enjoy a beer and mingle with arriving guests was a nice touch. Melissa was very helpful throughout the entire planning process and supporting us with our questions, special requests, and overall making the experience as least stressful as possible. The Clubhouse offers reasonable pricing considering you get in house DJ and catering. The staff day of was very helpful and took initiative to clean up and pack away important items and return them to the bridal-- custom cake cutting set and flutes. Overall good experience, everything ran smoothly! We appreciate Melissa and the whole team at The Clubhouse!

We had our wedding here and overall we had a great time, as did our guests. Below I'm listing the pros and cons (the reason that I'm taking off a star):Pros-they give you a foursome round of golf as part of your package, which my husband who golfs, loves and it's good through for one year from the date of the wedding-Beautiful outdoor setting makes for great pictures-Indoor cocktail area has a beautiful panoramic view of the outdoors-Bridal Suite is huge and also has a panoramic view of the outdoors-Food is great and good portions.-They made an exception for us and allowed us to bring some outside fruit-They also waived some of the fees for some items in the wedding package, which we were extremely grateful for.-For what we received from the wedding package the price was very reasonable, especially compared to other venues that we looked at-Plenty of parkingCons-We asked them to put candles at our guest tables and they didn't. Perhaps there was a miscommunication?-Our wedding package included a guest book. Our venue coordinators later got switched and the new venue coordinator insisted it wasn't included. We found out later that it was but in the meantime I had to spend some time last minute before the wedding to buy one-We asked them that we wanted to hire our own DJ for the wedding, but we discovered after making the final payment that they still charged us for the in-house DJ. They did, however refund us for it, which we were very grateful.-We were told by some guests that they took a while to cut and serve the cake. My husband noticed that too. They also gave us one of the tiers of the wedding cake. We had said that we didn't want to keep the top tier and I'm not sure if they cut the backup sheet that I got first (I had assumed that they'd cut the wedding cake itself first). We now have part of our wedding cake saved in the freezer which is fine, lol-We noticed some golfers and golf carts at our wedding even though it was near the ceremony site. We had expected this though but would have preferred if it was completely closed off. Overall, if you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue with reasonable pricing, this is it. Thank you to Tyler, who no longer works there and Melissa (assuming she still does) for helping us have a fabulous and fun wedding!
