Do not buy a car here. I just reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Not only did they mess up our custom order, they did not give me the teacher discount I was promised. The sales manager Jason Krupa was rude and condescending. Volvo does not stand behind their dealerships, because they are independently owned. Beware of Volvo and especially this mess of a dealership.

While on a road trip to get home to Washington state, our S60 developed engine trouble on the interstate in Vacaville. Losing power, check engine light on and screeching sounds. Had to stop and have it towed to Volvo Walnut Creek. Dropped the key in night slot and prayed their service dept could help us get repaired and back on the road as soon as possible.Prayers were answered! Called on Monday morning and spoke with Mike M service advisor who understood our situation and said they would get our car diagnosed that morning. Oil trap clogged, part in stock and repair completed by 11:00am. Great communication and updates. Amazing service and saved our trip! Gratitude to Mike and the Volvo Walnut Creek service crew for taking such good care of a customer in need.

Moving on. What happened to Lawrence Volvo? My family have been customers for over 20 years and purchased 4 Volvo SUV during that time. Seems the customer service have gone down hill. The remodel of the building looks nice, however step inside and you will get a cold and uncomfortable experience, especially in the service department. For some reason Volvo hired young inexperienced people and they have too many of them. They sit there and pretend to look busy and ignore the customer. They act as if they are doing you a favor if you have questions about the service of your Volvo. They also have no knowledge about Volvo automobiles. Maybe Volvo should buy a robot to do the job. We decided to purchase our next Volvo in 2024 at another dealership in the Bay Area. Also, service on our current Volvo will never be done at this location.

I went to Volvo Walnut Creek solo. I just wanted to test drive an XC 60 Plug-In Hybrid and to decide to buy another day. I was not ready to go full electric, but was not sure if plug-in hybrids work. I had such a positive experience in the store,a couple of hours later, I was driving home my new XC 60 Plug-in Hybrid in Thunder Gray.When I arrived at the Volvo in Walnut Creek, Anya welcomed me like one of their VIPs. I had an appointment with A.K. at 1 pm. I arrived 30 mins. early. Though he was still attending to another client, he didn't make me wait long. A.K. was super nice. He had the knowledge of a seasoned salesperson. But he wasn't pushy at all. He was a very good listener. And he answered all my questions accurately. Made me feel that he sincerely wanted to work with me to ensure that I'll be happy with my choice. I went back and forth to the yard to take a look at several units and he was very accommodating all the time. I highly recommend Volvo in Walnut Creek. They've got more inventory compared to other stores. Moreover, everybody in the store exudes positive energy.

A perfect service experience! Mike greeted me upon my arrival without hesitation. He was happy and cheerful and very helpful. The drop off process was painless and took five minutes. They even paid for a Lyft to take me home to Oakland!!!I got a call a few hours after drop off. Mike had some easy questions for me from the technicians. A few hours later I got a second call from Mike with a definitive diagnosis of my check-engine light. He had ALREADY ordered the part needed, had it over nighted and said my car would be ready the following afternoon. Like clock work, I got a call at 2pm that the part had been replaced, the car recalibrated, they checked for recalls and software updates and I was all set. It was no problem pulling up my warranty and after 24 hours and a $100 deductible, I was on my way home with the problem fixed. The service was impeccable. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Mike has 22 years of experience with Volvo and the technicians clearly knew what they were doing!!** I had previously taken my car to the San Leandro Volvo not once, but twice, for the same issue. They had my car for a total of six days combined and could not even DIAGNOSE the problem, much less fix it. Additionally, they never called me and were impossible to get ahold of. I had to physically go the the San Leandro service center just to talk to someone only to find out they were completely clueless. In both instances I drove home with the check engine light still on.

....so....I think this dealership is under new ownership and my experience was great. Tyler was my service rep and he was perfect....exactly what I expect from a service rep. Alexis, despite her young age, was extremely professional and patient with me. I just want to post a 5 star review as this was my best experience with auto service in a very long time. Great job!

Had a nice experience overall leasing my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Plus last Sunday. Helen, Jason and Zack have been very helpful and understanding throughout the entire process right from initial greeting to test drive to discussing the numbers, signing the deal and delivering the car!

My service writer at this dealership could care less about me, my car, or the cost of service. He writes the orders and bills the high repair cost without regard to what a customer might think. He never communicates unless you call him. I never got any information out of him without calling. I had a major warranty issue with Volvo and he not only refused to give me any advice or advocacy, he threw me under the bus. Fortunately, Volvo eventually fixed the car, but I needed to get the work done there, but he extracted another $1500 of what he defined as uncovered expenses. I moved here during the warranty, so I have experience with a Volvo dealer who seamlessly made claims on the warranty. I called them regarding my issues with Volvo Cars of Walnut Creek and they said the conduct was reprehensible. I will never go back. And probably never buy another Volvo or Polestar.

Our family has been blessed with more than a half dozen Volvos since 1991 and I have received all of these through three different Volvo dealerships in the Bay Area. Volvo of Walnut Creek's staff and service department is the most customer focused dealership I've worked with. This group is my favorite!

ZERO STARS if possible.The service department at Walnut Creek continuously charged for services pertaining to the same sensor issue I had return to them for 3 times in the span of 4 months. There was zero accountability let alone, acknowledgement, that the same car has came back 3 times in 4 months regarding the SAME ISSUE.The service associates (Tyler & Mike) were extremely rude to me, owners of the body shop that did the body work on my car, and my insurance claim agent.This was my first encounter with a Volvo Service Dept and this is a severely disappointing representation of the Volvo brand and the level of integrity I thought Volvo stood for as a luxury car brand.

Very nice and helpful staffs especially Tori and Jason. Thanks for your big help getting my new car. I had a test drive XC60 both Plus and Ultimate models and I loved Ultimate one. I went to check other brand but I decided Volvo right away. Volvo seats are too notch. Don’t compare with other brand. The purchasing process was so quick and efficient. I love my new car!
