I got off the phone with them about my speed being under half of what I pay for and after about ten minutes my speed was back down to one third to one eighth of what my speed is supposed to be. Not recommended unless it is your only option.

I don't ever post this kinda of stuff. But I'm very frustrated this morning. A week ago I called windstream to purchase internet. Made an appointment for the 14th of this month. The woman got my address and told me I was able to get 10mb...okay get me...the day of my appointment I get a text from them saying my appointment will be rescheduled for the 22nd. Called asked why they told me they had to work on things. I understand and hung up the phone. This morning I wake up to a text from them stating that my order was cancelled. Jump on the phone right then. The woman was extremely rude and told me the reason they cancelled is because they ran out of internet. And also told me I couldn't get the internet where I lived. LIES, let me tell you why. My mother lives literally right behind me same street and all that good stuff. She has their internet( they ended up cancelling on her 2 hours before her appointment )The woman tried to make excuses of course.DO NOT PURCHASE WINDSTREAM INTERNET.

Horrible service! I spent 40 minutes on the phone for them to tell me they could not give me a price on a package or even set up a future date for our new home service because someone else still lived there! Extremely unprofessional and unreasonable! It's the only provider in that area and I am at the mercy of their bogus rules! Once the service is eventually cancelled, I will have to call back in and place an order and wait until they have a service time available! I am at their mercy and I am going to have to wait until they have availability for installation too!! Absolutely ridiculous and a complete joke!!
