I couldn't be happier with what just transpired as a customer. I tried to use my SMOK Novo and it wouldn't turn on. I was in Alameda Island about to go into a store. So I did what seemed like normal troubleshooting. I plugged it in- 100% charged. I pulled pod and cleaned contacts (with a flimsy wadded up napkin in my purse). I was stumped. So I banged the button with my finger about 40 times rapid fire. Still nothing. I'm a newly ex cigarette smoker -5 months- and using vape to ween off the whole cigarette ritual. So I PANICKED! My bah-bah, the delicate transitional tool, was broken. Immediately I turned my car around back to LaMorinda- passed my house and went in to buy new one. Salesperson asked to see my broken one. He firmly and calmly pressed the button 3 times. MAGICAL results! It worked. He was so nice and measured and polite I felt I owed the shop a purchase for the free service. I bought a second one to keep for emergencies. Which turned out to be a good idea because as I was typing this review I dropped my original one on the sidewalk and it's really broken now.

Although I live in Walnut Creek I've been going to my regular smoke shop in Concord for years . I decided to explore and tried XYZ about 6 months ago and I'm super glad I did . The prices are not any higher and my first experience was awesome. My first interaction with customer service was with JD . He was very helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and always going out of his way to to make the whole experience pleasant. Now 6 months later nothing has changed JD always has a smile on his face and is available for all my needs . This small family shop is very blessed and fortunate to have JD working for them , good workers are hard to find these days . I highly recommend shopping at XYZ for all your needs .

Found a board I really liked and wasn't a bad price. Sector 9 and Ceramic bones bearings. The guy behind the counter (didn't catch his name) was super nice and helpful, and even offered to put the bearings in for me. 11/10

Stopped by today for the first time with my kids to get a few skateboard related items and to check this place out. The young man who helped us was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to talk with. Excellent customer service! The shop was well organized and set up nicely and there was a good selection of products.

Nice place - lots of skate and smoke stuff, and clean and modern. They are pretty attentive, except for one time (took off a star), and they were able to answer some questions I had so I feel like I've chosen the right product - I like knowing they have some knowledgeable people. I've gone back 2 more times.

Got my very first skateboard from here a few days ago and got exactly what I needed. Perfect wheel softness and size for starting out. Staff was super friendly, helped build the whole board, and I was ready to go right from the jump and learned a ton. Made skating feel like something I could actually get into instead of gate-keeper-ey and scary.My boyfriend is a more seasoned skater and also got a new setup. They helped him pick the right wheels too for what he's hoping for. We're both super happy.
