Two Zipcar locations were shown on my local map, one in Walnut Creek and one in Concord. But when I went to the Zipcar website, they said nothing of those places and said Zipcar was not in my area.

My car needs a part on backorder. Motorcraft save me. I needed to get things done. After some research. I found the average price of $15 an hour was reasonable for what i needed. I was able to sign up, get in a car and take care of business and return it. All in the same day. A rental or rideshare would have cost much more money.

Even though Zipcar’s website says they operate in Walnut Creek and the City of Walnut Creek’s website says there are “currently” two Zipcar locations in the city, if you spend the $35 to register for Zipcar and try to book a car in Walnut Creek, you will be told that Zipcar does not operate in your area, and you should instead book a car in one of the areas where Zipcar operates, such as San Francisco.
