They do Sunday brunch. The place is a bit rundown, but it appears they are working on it.

We went for their Thanksgiving buffet. In the past the food was excellent. This time we enjoyed the turkey and ham. They were wonderful but the yams had too much seasoning and they were not very warm and the green bean casserole was cold .Noteworthy details: We did not stay in the hotel but would like to. It's an old Art Deco hotel where celebrities of bygone days stayed. It is said that some of the rooms are haunted.

Sunday Brunch is absolutely worth the money. Aside from the culinary talent the staff here are the most hospitible and real group of indivuals that I have ever encountered in food service/ hospitality. The art deco atmosphere makes this place one of most noteworthy establishments in California period. The actual value and variety of their menu is surpassed only by the quality of the food and service here. Don't consider any of the negative reviews for this place as valid. This place is 101% a must go destination no matter who you are.Rooms: 5 StarsSafety: Completely safe, welcoming, cozy, and elegantFood & drinks: Culinary Expertise, inspiring variety, A+ Value, 5 Star ServiceNoteworthy details: Top 3 Brunch Buffets in Northern California

My family was there for a wedding. The first room we got had broken glass in the tub, and the toilet leaked at the base. They did give us another room when we brought this to their attention. The rooms have NO ac. They are very small also. To heat our food, we had to go down and ask the "chef" to heat it up for us. He messed that up and did not follow the directions on the box. The ceiling fan was noisy and had to keep it on low to have it as quiet as possible. At the reception, the food was so bland it was like eating hard air. No salt or pepper was available for the guests to even put some kind of flavor to it.There is no golf there. Found out that it is in the works. When we tried to plug in our phones to charge, the outlets were scary as the plugs would fall out just from walking on the floor. On the good side, the staff are very friendly and try to help as much as they can. Found out that this is a historic landmark. The owner is in the process of getting approved to bring some stuff up to modern code. The room had a view of the river. But found out that there is not an elevator making it harder for guests with mobility issues not able to get to rooms. In short, good place to have a wedding, not for staying. If it was not for the fact that my family was part of the wedding party, we would have driven the hour back home.

I had the pleasure to experience a very nice brunch on Mother's Day at the Ryde hotel. I was there with a very larger group and someone from our party had chose the location and made the reservation. Our reservation was later in the day but the food was fresh and very good. The service staff was very attentive and the manager was so on top of everything and making sure that the buffet was full and that the guests were happy he even went out of his way to bring more fruit to my table when asked if the station was going to be filed. I probably would have never come to this location if not for the Mother's Day brunch but I'm so glad I did it' was a great experience.

Beautiful place, looking at the river. We stayed in Garden Cottage. It's big & had coffee maker, microwave & full size refrigerator. Had stove, didn't use. It's a very large room with a bar and barstools and a full dining table; 6 2 love seats and 3 couches! Unfortunately the king bed is surrounded by 3 walls, meaning 1 person would have to climb over the other person in order to get out. They made up a bed for me on couch, very comfy. In garden cottage wear slippers, as floor not perfectly clean, good advice for all hotels. Gorgeous garden filled with roses & peacocks.Walkability: Enjoy garden in back, watch your step, ground slightly uneven. Paving stones to gazebo have 1 part needs to be repaired.

No very run down place. Had book mothers day brunch here today. Not good got seated at 130pm rsvp time but the buffet was very empty or just nothing there had to wait a while for food to come out. Very poorly ran not worth the money at all. Will never go back here again for brunch. Manager took forever to come over to talk to us about everything. I had to seek her out. Told her to come talk to us. Just not good at all very sad also very hot inside no air flowing. Thanks for nothing on our special day. If you read this go somewhere else for your special event.

Checkin and out was smooththe staff was nice but as soon as he gave me the key he didn’t tell me where to go or where the rooms were lolif you need help or want more towels good luck I saw staff 2 times throughout my 2 night stay: when I checked in and when I was going out.The lake was beautiful thoIt’s very old. Old style, furniture, appliances, smell, etc.No ac no tv no mirror the outlets couldn’t even hold a chargerThe WiFi and service were TERRIBLE so don’t plan on being able to contact peopleThe key to get into your room you know with all your stuff well the key gets jammed and won’t open it which is really funthey charge WAY too much for what the stay entails

Mothers Day Sunday brunch was a total disaster. We had 10 am reservations and arrived on time. We knew it was going to be busy but were unprepared for the fact that most of the items in the buffet were wiped out. The eggs benedict, prime rib and shrimp cocktail platters were decimated. They were scrambling to restock but there was no clue when more food was coming out. It didn't matter because the food quality was subpar with overcooked prime rib, runny eggs on the benedict and dry salmon. Then to make matters worse, when they presented the final bill, they told us we had to pay cash since their credit card reader was down. We were a party of 10 and lucky we even had cash on us! PLUS...they said we overstayed the 2 hour/table limit and we had to leave. Well...we had to wait 40 minutes before any food was even restocked on the buffet...so WTH? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Celebrating family birthdays today having a beautiful and delicious brunch at the Ryde Hotel. There was a great selection of breakfast items, including fresh salmon, Eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, crème brûlée (OMG too tasty to describe) and much much more. I don’t know how they make those rosemary potatoes, but I was back for seconds. YUM! The hotel grounds and dining room are beautiful and full of rich Delta history, as well as an outdoor dining area along the riverfront. The wonderful service was attentive and accommodating. Just a short 40 minute drive south of Sacramento. We’ll be back but we aren’t waiting for a special occasion!

...My wife , daughter and I had a spring brunch at this Hotel in 2023 . This was without a doubt one of the worst dinning experiences I have ever had . The food literally made me sick . The $ 60 per adult was such a rip off ! How does this place stay in business ? Seriously ! . Great ambience by the river .. that is what the one star Is for . We won't be back .

We had our wedding here and they did a fabulous job! The food was outstanding, they were so accommodating to our needs. The garden and ball room were perfect and beautiful. Tina and her crew were amazing! I highly recommend this as a wedding venue. The rooms aren't modern and need some sprucing up which I understand they are working on.
