They do a fantastic job, and their entire team is super skilled in complex nail art. Their work is very neat and doesn't bubble. The owner is very professional and her entire team does a great job!!! I only go here when I'm visiting from out of town and visiting on vacation because they do such a good job. They are also very affordable, and their prices are on par with other prices. If you want beautiful nail, art, and look no further. I highly recommend making an appointment. I went before Christmas and they were able to give me a same day appointment.

No ventilation. The fumes were extremely strong. Love that we don't have to wait. Pricing is inconsistent. Apparently, we have to pay removal of our last polish from our last visit here at Vanna. It's ridiculous to be honest. Never had to pay that anywhere else. Extremely disappointed, especially since I finally like the nail technician, Fiona. Fiona is nice but the fees at this locations is outrageous.

I've been coming to VANA Nails for a regular gel manicure and I'm pretty pleased with the quality of work. It's also a lot more affordable than most of the salons out in LA. I've had no chips and no nails breaking. I'm usually in and out in about 1 hr and a half, I'd totally recommend!

I would definitely try to go before 4-5 PM on Saturday because there were quite a bit of walkins. But they did such a great job despite the rush!

Had a lovely experience here! I live in hacienda heights and was looking for a new nail salon , I decided to do a walk in for a pedi and manicure and they were able to squeeze me in with almost no wait. I ended up on going with Gel X set , A young man did my nails , I wish I remembered his name but I'll find out when I go back :) he exceeded my expectations.

I hate giving bad reviews but I am so disappointed. Ive been coming here for over a year with Li and loved my nails every time. Now that he's gone, I decided to give someone else a try and omg so many regrets. First of all, why are they now charging additionally to take off gel?!? It was always no charge if you got gel again & $20 extra for a wack french tip job??? Hana shame on you for putting money first before your craft. You saw the horrible job your tech did and still decided to charge me those $20 and sent me home disappointed. Do yourself a favor and do not come here. Positive reviews are for the employee who no longer work here & for Hana's clients.

My gel nails barely lasted 5 days prior to peeling. The staff was very rushed when doing my nails and often told me to remove my hands from the gel machine even before the light turned off. They also told me they couldn't add another layer of color when I asked as I wanted my nail color to look less opaque. The service here wasn't too great.

This is my first time coming here and I will not be coming back. Such a bad experience. Lack of skill and quality service. I went in for a manicure. I did Gel x and I had two designs on each figure. First, I asked the nail technician to cut the Gel x shorter and I had to repeat myself 5x and she wouldn't do it. She would say "okay" and not do anything. Also, she had a little attitude when she responded. If she did as I have asked, I wouldn't have to repeat myself. Second, my nails were not cut evenly on both hands. My nails on my left hand is longer than the right. Third, I chose a are very simple design and she couldn't do it (as pictured). In addition, she couldn't understand what I was trying to tell her. The owner Hana had to explain to her what I was saying because she couldn't understand very much English. Anyway, after I have corrected her so many times for one nail. I got tired and frustrated and I just let it go. She couldn't even design one nail correctly. I felt like she didn't even care about doing a good job. As you can see on my photos the nail design looked nothing like I wanted (pictured left). Gel X cost $60 and $18 for designs. I was charged overprice for designs the nail technician couldn't do. If Hana knows her staff is unable or not very skilled with designs, she should be upfront about it. Instead of having her try to design nails and charging the customer. Seems like she is just trying to make money. I felt like Hana and her staff don't provide quality work and service is lacking. They don't care about doing things right. I don't know how this place has good reviews. As mentioned in the beginning, I will not be coming back. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Unreliable appointment times. If you are in a time crunch or expect to plan your day around your appointment, be prepared for up to an hour wait even with an appointment. I understand Vietnamese, and as the employees were speaking amidst themselves it was clear to me that the employees were not aware of my appointment or the next appointment last month. They also didn't check or refer to any appointment system. In fact, because they weren't prepared for my appointment that included nail art, I said I'd just have a regular manicure without nail art. Lastly, it's only been one week and my gel polish is already peeling on the edges, they didn't apply the binder all the way to the edges.

Love love love my nails! Finally a good nail place :), also I have paper thin nails and the nail tech changed her technique so I could feel less pain. I was also impressed the nail tech really took her time with me and was honest when other clients called to ask about wait times! Price is a little higher than usual, however for the professionalism I have no problem with paying :) .

I visited last Thursday and got a pedicure with gel extensions and the worst experience!! I asked for a happy pedicure and gel extensions. They sat me right away and I started by telling the guy doing my pedi to be extra careful and not cut me because I'm on blood thinners and he might have a hard time stopping the bleeding. He shook his head and said okay. He started doing the cleaning and cuts my big toe! He then proceeded to look at me and say I'm sorry. He immediately got peroxide to disinfect and started putting pressure on toe. Of course it did not stop bleeding so he kept saying I'm sorry. At this point I was more worried then upset but I did remind him he needed to be careful because I was on blood thinners. He finished the job and he kept wiping due to toe was still bleeding so I walked out with blood on my toe! Next the young girl takes me to the table to finish the extensions and as she was filling my pinky I felt a burn and saw blood coming from my pinky. Never in my life have I been cut while filling my nails. At this point for the 3rd time I told them to be careful and not to cut me!! She proceeded to file my ring finger and kept getting too close to skin! I kept pulling away and kept telling her to be careful. The entire time I wanted to cry because never have I had such a bad experience! Im pregnant and all I wanted to do is have a relaxing day but instead I kept myself from crying and running out from the frustration I felt . When she finished putting the first coat of color I told her I was done and she didn't need to proceed with the original design I wanted. I paid 100 dollars for the crappy service and even left a cash tip. As soon as I got in the car I bumped my right thumb on steering wheel and broke my nail! Ive been here 3 other times and been helped by the older gentleman and older lady and never had an issue, and that is why I came back to the salon. I never ask for same person because you assume everyone in the salon should be able to understand basic requests and should provide quality service. I guess not! I don't know what kind of extensions they are using but Sunday my left thumb cracked and today my right ring finger nail tip broke off when I bumped it. I'm pretty sure is not me just having bad luck , I've never had so many broken nails in less than 1 week. I'm not even at work using my hands!! Just laying at home doing normal things so I don't understand why the nails keep braking!? I know the owners don't care since they didn't even apologize or try to accommodate me in any way. But I need express the fact that we blow 100-140 on nails every 2-3 weeks! The least you can do is be a little more considerate with customers and use better quality product and better training of employees!

The service here is okay but they overcharged me because I asked the technician to fix one of my nails. For the price, the quality is decent but nothing more than that.

Hana is adorable and at first I thought very sweet but Hana is the slowest nail tech I've ever been too (not the issue) but she does what she wants and not what you ask for. It's like she only knows how to do two designs. She's kind of rude and talks to you like your idea isn't good so she just does what she wants. I've gone twice and both times she did what she wanted and not what I asked for. She always had an attitude. She'll stop doing your nails to have a whole conversation with her co workers. It took her 3 hours to do a full set. They all lifted within a week too. Just disappointed.

The owner is responsive and take walk in appointments, which is very convenient, however the technicians are terrible. The older male technician clipped off my thumb nail because he wasn't paying attention. He apologized but then we proceeded with the wrong service request. I asked for dip nails but he gave me acrylic nails. Also he did not know how to file my nails - he angled it and could not make it straight Absolutely unacceptable. I will not be returning.

There was only 2 people working there, 1 girl and 1 guy. I did my pedi mani yesterday. The quality is so so, I have to ask her to redo the polish because it's not even. She didn't give me the massage as other nail salons normally do. When I asked them, the guy told me I have to pay more for the massage service. The girl that did my pedi mani looks like she is in rush, even though there was only 2 customers at the time. They asked me to pay first in the middle of the service. I will certainly not go back to this place anymore. No wonder their business is so slow.
