Supposedly this vons store was to be renovated a while back but I was disappointed that it was the isles just moved and expanded. A little paint here and there but that's it. Not much done because to me it looks the same. Pretty cheap is what I'm seeing. I've been coming here since 1998 and it's still the same. You can see even the rust marks on the floor when the isles where closer together. And very sad looking produce that some of the vegetables and fruits are past its due date. Bought some milk and some ground beef before and it turns out it was old and some past the expiration date so you got to be vigilant and see the dates on it. Also like the last person who stated about the checkers not looking happy is true. No smiles.

This store has a great selection of foods. However, a smell has been preventing me from coming to this location as often as I used to. I don’t know if it is coming from the deli or meat areas, but you can smell it as soon as you walk in. This has been going on for at least 2 months. They need to do a deep clean ASAP.

AVOID THE DELI! We are so disgusted. You are likely to get some sort of bacteria here, i.e., salmonella, staph, etc. The Caucasian (?) lady that was working on 3/19/24 at 5:30pm is THE most unsanitary and rude human being ever encountered. We stopped by the deli to get some fresh slices of ham, but no one was working. (There were no customers at any time when we were here.) We noticed a pile of leftover meats sitting in the slicer and a slab of ham sitting next to the slicer with blood spots around the plastic bag and blood also pooling in the back of the bag (can't really see as clearly in the photo). We walked back to the deli later and saw ppl finally working, so we asked for some ham. When the lady finished slicing the ham, she grabbed a random USED bag off the counter. She didn't even pretend to grab a new bag. The bag had some drops of blood in it, and when questioned about that, she said it's from the ham and "it's normal" for ham to have blood in it like that. Now, I'm no expert, but I've purchased ham before. I've never seen blood in the packaging of any ham. When we tried to tell the assistant store manager of our concerns (a tall Caucasian male), he was quick to dismiss how unsanitary their deli was and changed the subject. We literally had to tell him, "That's salmonella. Do you even care?" He didn't. We left the ham there.

Deli department is always so lazy. Every time I come here, the deli department workers are either missing or have a bad attitude. Today, I had to leave after waiting for service for over 10 minutes! No one went over to help at all. Just lazy

This supermarket has a lot of great stuff, from food and beverages, dairy products, even pharmacies. They also have some ready to eat foods that have a good price but keeps the quality. Unfortunately, the service is the critical point to write about. I was waiting for the chicken station, and there was a super long line everytime I tried to buy it. It turned out that there was shortage of staff at that station and all of us had to wait for 25 minutes even when people want to buy it for lunch! That was a ridiculous thing to do, to waste your time just for a few pieces of chicken. I won't come back for the wait, but I will still buy the other ready to eat stuff here.

Renovation is nice, staff is friendly depending on what time or day you walk in. Bathrooms are nice. Store is clean and always stocked. Bought a bag of microwave rice one time to find out it was opened and spoiled when I got home. I know I should’ve checked it when I grabbed it, but I was in a hurry. But shouldn’t the workers be checking too? Also, there’s several employees that are just rude or aren’t very welcoming, specifically in cashier and hot deli. You can tell by the looks on their faces that they either hate their job or their work environment is unpleasant. Raw deli is super friendly, though. I’ve worked customer service so I brushed it off at first, but being rude and sassy is ridiculous. I’ve even been shorted on change after I double checked my receipt with my own calculator on my phone. I came back to this store 3 times in the same day asking for rotisserie chicken. A worker told me they were in the oven and would be ready in an hour. I left and when I come back the same worker tells me there’s none? Not that they all sold out, just that there was none with no further explanation. Unfortunately even though this is the closest grocery store to me, and they have self checkout which is super convenient, I’ve opted to just go to different stores that are even farther away that provide more satisfactory customer service. So if you’re doing a quick run don’t be afraid to come in, just don’t expect anything above bare minimum.

I would label this store as "Non-Asian-friendly" since, as an Asian, the African American female cashier consistently exhibits an unfriendly attitude, appearing to disdain Asians and giving disdainful looks. We didnt owe her; we were there to shop. If we had a membership card, I wouldn't have to interact with her at the cashier line. I now understand why "self checkout" is so popular， because employees who discriminate shouldn't hold such positions. I would give a rating of zero if possible.

I shop here out of convenience, but absolutely dislike this store. I come around 8 AM and there is only self-checkout every time and it can be such a pain when you are purchasing a week worth of grocery or buying alcohol. And some of the staff still have the nerve to give you attitude. The produce is not fresh and definitely overpriced.
