The worst telephone customer service. Very difficult to get account help. Wait times, if you can even get through without being disconnected, are very long...often exceeding 45 minutes to over an hour. Online banking isn't always working properly. Getting very frustrated with this bank. Now they froze my credit card because I was trying to make a small purchase online and they thought it was suspicious. Yet when fraud really happens those charges go through and drain my account and it took 6 months to get my funds back. No customer service even answering this morning. How can a bank run like this?

Horrible service at this location. I vented to them about my problem and they seemed to not care. I got charged two fees, when I got my account negative I went ahead and made a payment on Saturday before the 4:30pm time frame and I find out today on a Monday that I got two charges. Why is that when I made my account back to a positive balance. I've been constantly getting these fees and it's ridiculous because how do you expect to make a payment on the weekend through the atm since that's the only way to make a deposit because they are closed on the weekend and it doesn't post until Monday. Like c'mon Bank of the west you need to look after your customers. I had to close my account because I vented to them my frustration and they didn't seem to comprehend what I was trying to explain to them. I will never again in my life would recommend this bank to my friends and family members and you should too. All they care about is taking money from people over unfactual charges even though going through a pandemic right now they don't care for their customers and they stay ripping them off. Glad I closed my account with them. Time to go to chase!

Been banking here for over 15 years 25 total with this bank. The drive thru is super slow. I sat the 3rd carin for 45 min before being helped. I just don't understand why they don't have a full time window agent. I can go to any other branch and be in and out within 10 min.Makes me want to change banks.

Worst place in the world. You receive money then it disappears. They do not answer calls at local branches and when they do they tell you to call the 1800 number. It takes the 1800 number 2 to 3 hours to get to you. They tell you one thing then do another. I absolutely hate this place and I hope you choose any other bank. They are not good at all. Not to mention it takes them a month to transfer money from one account to another. Within the same bank....

I banked here for about 8 months their fees are so high! This branch has the rudest customer service though. I would NOT recommend this branch or bank at all.

This Bank is a very small operation and literally would flag any suspicious activity and close your account IMMEDIATELY and FREEZE your money indefinately. STAY AWAY. They recently flagged my EIDL loan and sent it back to SBA as suspicious and now i have no way of getting my 40k loan which is much needed for my business to surviveVery bad staff and bank manager is very rude

They seem to have issues comprehending what's being asked each time I use this bank, otherwise they aren't able to help with what's being asked yet somehow at 2 other branches I use, they'll do exactly what I'm asking with zero problems. After venting about this bank it seems I'm not the only one regularly having a bad experience at the Waterford branch..
