“I never expected to have a traditional Chinese Medicinal vet, but the McKays are neighbors who are highly recommended. They have been our dog' s vet for 3 years now, and they are fantastic! They are very thorough and systematic in their approach to medicine, and carefully explain benefits and drawbacks of holistic AND more conventional approaches. My dog has had recurrent UTIs and is now on a Chinese herb that has kept her from needing antibiotics for a year or so. In the meantime, they have given preventative medicine on a case by case basis, weighing the need before over prescribing heartworm and flea and tick meds. Gwen and George are consummate professionals who are kind, honest, and masterful in their work. Plus you will probably get a few bad puns if George can help it!”
