A family member introduced Alexis/Accounting Therapy to me, and my only regret is not starting with her from day one when I launched my wedding planning business a few years ago. She is very professional and knowledgable and I enjoyed working with her virtually leading up to the end of 2020. She quickly cleaned up my bookkeeping and implemented a new invoicing system for me to bill clients directly through Quickbooks. She created video tutorials for me which I can reference at any time down the road and gave me the confidence I needed with my business finances. I highly recommend Accounting Therapy to anyone feeling lost in Quickbooks and wanting to get a tighter grip on their accounting!

Do not hesitate! This agency is professional, knowledgeable, prompt and patient. I had just become a successor trustee and wanted to explore the direct hire of employees. I've used Candy Messer and her staff as my bookkeeper for the past 6 years and their service has always been phenomenal. They get your books done in a timely manner at an affordable and competitive rate and also help me file my quarterly sales tax. Their books are so well organized that even my CPA always comments that I have the most organized and well kept books he's ever seen. They always respond to my emails promptly and help me pull any reports my accountant may need during tax return time. I highly recommend them if you have a small business and have no idea how to keep and balance books and want to spend your time more on the creative side of your business and less on the daunting task of balancing your books!

I have been a longtime client of Candy and Affordable Bookkeeping and Payroll and have always been impressed with her attention to detail, efficiency and quick turnaround time. She gets an A++ for all three! I am writing this review today, however, because I recently switched to using Quickbooks online and had many frustrations and questions over the weekend in working in the new program to prepare my 4th quarter reports for her. Candy not only responded to my many text questions right away but agreed to meet me on a Saturday afternoon (!!!) to go over some things in person...and then on Sunday (!!!) she was there to respond immediately to all of my questions. She always goes above and beyond to take care of her clients and after more than 10 years of working with her I have nothing but the highest level of respect and confidence in her work. She and her team know what they are doing and get the job done! As a creative business owner this area is not my strength and to have someone like Candy to assist with this side of business is, as they say, PRICELESS!

Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, I would do my accounting. I entered every single business and personal expense into quickbooks for the whole year on that day! It was an 18 hour day and sometimes spilled into the next day. I hated it but it was necessary to get my taxes completed. I''m a Realtor and met Alexis thru her parents as she wanted to buy a home. When Thanksgiving came one year years ago, Alexis said she could do the accounting for me. I was like, nah I got it. Another year went by and Alexis said, I can do that for you. Just wanting to take a break at Thanksgiving, I thought, oh alright give it a shot. I've never looked back and now Alexis has done all my accounting for many years now! Even my tax accountant loves her and he says I'm the most organized client he has. Alexis and I meet every so often and she does the work and now we've gotten to the point that she has taught me how to do some of the work so I understand more about my own financial situation. I can't say enough about Alexis and Accounting Therapy and highly recommend their services!

Alexis Sadler and her team at Accounting Therapy are thorough and patient. I had no experience with QuickBooks and they have been great to partner with as we get our small business off the ground. Alexis was particularly helpful when we determined our POS system had some major flaws. We’re switching to a new platform and I’m sure her experience will be invaluable as we settle in and get squared away.

Alexis is amazing!!! Not only is she professional, fun, & personable to work with, she is a wealth of knowledge. She came into my company Ash + Ember, about three years in, cleaned up and stream lined years of poor book keeping. Further, she was able to help me figure out workarounds & solutions that even the Quickbooks help team was not able to advise on.
