Galster Wilderness Park is a small, peaceful nature park located in West Covina. The park features trails that provide nice views of the San Gabriel Valley, making it ideal for beginners and those seeking a quick hike. Families often visit, and the nature center offers interesting displays about local wildlife. However, some visitors have noted that the park can attract unsavory crowds, with reports of drug use and other questionable activities. The area is dog-friendly but has warnings about coyotes and snakes. While some claim the park is haunted, many find it a beautiful spot for daytime visits. The park includes interpretive trails, restrooms, and a playground, but guests are advised to leave before dark, as it becomes very dark with no lights. Overall, Galster Wilderness Park is a lovely escape from the city, perfect for enjoying nature and quiet moments.
Beautiful park, peaceful and quiet. Little but refreshing with tall eucalyptus trees. We had lunch here after visiting the vet in the area. We recommend this park for picnics and family hangouts. The parking is free. We did not get spooky creepy vibes as it relates to hauntings.

Great place for a little hike with kids, is short, it has a playground and you are surrounded by nature. We seen ratle snakes, and coyotes so be careful

Some of the trails are nice, but there is graffiti and litter. The water wasn't working in the bathroom and sketchy people were hanging out. There are stairs to an overlook in the parking area
