Need to be respectful at customers even if the tires need air only. Not only to those who are going to pay. Workers there doesn't care about much what you need. Not like other pep boys location.

Never coming back here ever again. The manager "Robert" here is rude for literally no reason. Service itself was great, along with all the other employees but the nasty attitude I got with every encounter I had with Robert ruined everything. Basically, I went in for a service, a couple days later something came to mind where I thought I could get a refund for a tire. I go into the store, and the employee who helped me told me I couldn't get a refund but a free service instead but he never specified why exactly I wasn't eligible for a refund. I agreed to get a future free service but I was still confused as to why I couldn't get the refund & what the hassle was about. When I got the survey email I filled it out & chose the option for a manager to call me so I can tell them about my experience. I get a call from the manager there, Robert & he explains to me why I couldn't get my money which he claimed that the part I tried getting a refund for wasnt from Pep boys which wasnt true. I had gotten my tire from the Pepboys in Covina & I had the receipt but he kept insisting that he had the tire there & could see it wasnt from Pepboys. Im not sure what he meant by that or where he was getting mixed up. I knew it wasnt going through his head so I decided to let it go & just accept the free service. However, the part that really bothered me was his attitude towards me. Right off the bat, he was very stern, short, condescending & just his overall demeanor. Mind you, I was not being rude at all or anything of that manner - ever. He also wasn't apologetic about the situation which in customer service, I feel you should be especially when you cant go through with a customers request. I was expecting something like "I apologize but the reason why you cant get a refund is because..." but no as he was explaining it to me he had a very "in your face, too bad so sad" tone like he was proud to deny my request. If he didnt have an attitude then it wouldnt of bothered me that he wasnt apologetic. AND THEN... time goes by & I come in for that free service they offered me so I go in person & Im not sure exactly where the mix-up happened but when he found out I was there, he comes storming out to the front where Im at with a flustered look on his face & decides to harass me about the situation again because he ASSUMED that I was there to ask for my refund again. He starts coming at me with "We spoke on the phone ...... there is NO refund...." so then I tell him yeah....im not here for that.....Im here to claim the free service ya'll offered......and he didnt even apologize then for coming at me like that & being wrong. He was like like oh..... then walked away. Im not sure why he decided to become a manager if he cant handle it when customers say they arent satisfied in a respectful way & doesnt have accurate info (him telling me my tire wasnt from Pepboys when it was from Pepboys, from another location). Good luck to him, he's gonna need it when he experiences a rude, difficult, entitled customer. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because service was great & they did everything they could to make it up me but because of Roberts unnecessary, patronizing attitude, ill be generous & give them 2 stars.

I was on my way home and went through a large puddle while it rained heavily. I didn't notice anything wrong until a few minutes later when the rain started letting up. A HORRIBLE scraping noise. The guys at Pep Boys on Amar Rd in West Co were nice enough to remove the under carriage cover and replace the pins so my car will be safe to drive while we wait for the replacement part and only charged me for the cost of the pins. I've been a customer of theirs since I first got my license (sooo long ago) and will continue to be, because I know they can be counted on for great car service and great customer care. Thanks guys!!

I came to do a ride share vehicle inspection. It took a few minutes to get helped but once someone was with me they provided great customer service.I was quoted a wait time of around 45-60 minutes but only waited about 35 so not too bad.Overall the staff was friendly and professional.

I took my car for brakes, and I was charged over $500 for parts, and labor. After that my car was having trouble stopping at high speed in the freeway. Very scary experience in my whole life. I took it back, and they said it was the rotors, and drums. That replacement cost me another $523, and my car had the same issue. Took it back one last time, and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with my car, but they would be able to change the brake cylinder for an additional price (apparently not related to the previous job). Of course I decided to take my car somewhere else. I was told by the mechanic who finally fixed the issue to take the parts back, and filed a complaint with BARR. Got only half of my money back. Really disappointed. Will spread the word among neighbors, friends, and family. Stay safe on the roads.

The truth is, very bad service, my wife almost crashed due to her bad brake service, they grabbed air when braking and the discs were very bad, the joke is that they never fixed the problem, I had to take it to another workshop and return their material. Which, they returned half of my money and kept the other half ????
