To order a poke bowl, find the desk with order forms on it and fill that out. No need to wait your turn if other people crowd the space, just grab an order form for yourself.Food is great, I always get the Ocean Deep (w/ 5 proteins) and choose 2 tuna, 1 salmon, and mix up the remaining 2 proteins. Go for more plain tuna or salmon if you prefer a filling meal.My only gripe is that they can be stingy with some sauces (creamy wasabi, eel sauce) while overbearing on others (mayo). The place is small, a bit stuffy tbh, so I recommend takeout. Wait time is around 10-15 minutes depending on crowds.Worth it. I'll come back to try their other ala carte items.

Kinda of a crowded dining area, ordered but I guess I didn’t understand how to order so sat there for 15 minutes while she helped customers that came 10minutes after me. Food was great tho!

I was walking around looking for something to eat and this store appeared I almost didn't know it was a poke place and almost walked past it but thankfully I didn't. It was my first time having poke and a lady taking the orders showed me how to order, told me what things were, what went together and offered me some miso soup. The ambiance was calm and fresh. they played nice music and the place just was a good vibe overall. Then the food came and it was spectacular. I got a kinda deep poke bowl with white rice, shrimp, scallop, and salmon with a side of edamame and kimchi. I even order there aqua breeze lychee drink and it was really good. Definitely would come again and bring some of my friends. I spent a good 20 bucks and I do not regret it

Yummy poke spot! The fish is fresh, it's different from traditional poke spots because you fill out a slip of paper with your order, instead of ordering at the counter. I actually liked this method since I don't have to shout my order over the counter, and the service was fast. It's reasonably priced and the portion you get is pretty big. I ordered the smaller bowl with 3 proteins, the larger one is 5 proteins. A more casual place to grab lunch or dinner but inside the shop was super clean and inviting. I love the large selection of toppings and sauces, will definitely come back when I am in the area!

this place is a hidden gem! when i say hidden, i mean it. my hubby and i were recommended this place by family after so many years of searching for a poke place since MYO sushi closed down the way. haven't been able to find a really good place, most places are mediocre but this place...this place is AMAZING! lets start this review:walking in, you're greeted who i believe is the owner of this gem. the man and woman that are always there are super sweet. very welcoming. upon ordering i noticed they had so many sauces that i didn't know what to choose. so i asked the lady that was taking the order if i could have a sample of all of the sauces, and she was super sweet about it. let me try all the sauces. come to my surprise they were alllllll delicious. my favorite sauce was the creamy wasabi. after taking our order they went ahead and put our bowls together fairly quickly they served us our meal and it was jaw dropping. the presentation of the food was amazing. the bowls were a really good size. i didn't even wait to take a picture, i dove right in. hence the messy first bowl. it was oh so flavorful, the fish was not fishy AT ALL, the rice was nice and hot, the veggies were all fresh. THE ONION, UGH... so delicious! so crispy. I loved everything about it. you also get a side of miso soup with every bowl so that was exciting because i LOVE miso soup. the miso was sooooo hot, and pact with flavor. i think what the cherry on top for this place was that it was well put together for a hole in the wall. it was very small, but very clean and very roomy. my toddler was able to comfortable sit in the high chair without being in the way. they have so many options for other things if you aren't a big fan of raw fish. they have chicken, grilled salmon, RAMEN!! YES I SAID RAMEN. So when my toddler is ready we will def be ordering him something to eat. all in all, this place was amazing. so happy we found this place. we've been here like 2 days in a row and yesterday was our 3rd. plan on making this our weekly spot for something light. especially because you have the option to make the bowl a salad which is great. YA'LL NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE. YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!

Didn't realize there was a place like this. It's very quiet and clean inside the restaurant but the food did come out kind of slow for a poke bowl place. The poke bowl for 5 protein is a fair price and the fish I feel were ok fresh.Overall, not a bad place for some poke in a not too crowded place.

all time favorite poke place!! been coming here for the last 2 years or so and it never disappoints. their regular bowl usually comes with 3 scoops of fish and large with 5 scoops. the fish is buttery and fresh, the sauces are a good mix between savory, sweet, and spicy, and they have plenty of different toppings to choose from! even with the choose all of them if you like a lotttt. for the price and size of the bowls they're so worth it and i love their weekly specials! their rice can be a little hard which brings this down to 4 stars so i opt to do half chips! if the rice texture were to improve a little, definitely could enjoy with all rice too! speaking of, their tortilla chips taste so fresh and crispy, perfect to make your own poke nachos with it!!! best of both worlds, and with a side of miso soup that comes with your order, it keeps me coming back! definitely worth a try. the staff are really nice when they help with your order and if you have trouble figuring out which bowl is which, they will write out the names of each bowl if you have multiple! they do take some time to get it out to you but be patient as they have multiple online orders coming through as well

Their portions, customization, and pricing on their Saturday special make this the best poke place I've ever tried. If you don't like poke but do want some cheap eats, their chicken katsu rice bowl is also a good offering.

I normally don't like poke. It tends to be overpriced for what you get and it never wows me enough to pay the silly premium that any food that is Japanese-ish and "hip" with relatively price-insensitive consumers gets. But it's not a bad food - and Pick a Poke's really provides one of the best Poke bowls I've ever seen in my life - at an incredibly affordable price point as well.First, the large is actually genuinely very large. For $15ish, you get a massive bowl that includes 5 servings of fish (yes, literally five!!!), alongside a huge array of toppings, sauces, and of course, rice. None of the sauces are overpowering and when you mix together the bowl like a gremlin, which I am, the flavors complement each other very well. On quantity, the Poke bowls here are unbeaten - and on quality, it basically matches up to any other Poke bowl I've ever had in my entire life.Second, they have a unique menu with lots of other things to offer. My understanding is that the family which operates this shop is from the Philippines, and besides a Filipino appreciation for seafood that people tend to get when they're surrounded by water on every imaginable side which then terrifyingly rushes at them during every seasonal weather or climate event, they've also stacked the menu with tons of tasty and unique Filipino seafood dishes, in addition to the poke bowls. I had the fish skin salmon sisig tacos - they were delicious and you could feel each fish skin crisp in your mouth as you bit into the rich dish. The diverse menu, great price point, and generally high quality of the food has really solidified Pick a Poke's status in my mind as the best Poke restaurant I've ever eaten at - and it was enough to convince me, normally a Poke skeptic, to give the place my highest recommendation. Hope to try more of the menu the next time!
