I found the mechanics to be knowledgeable and transparent. Car trouble is a huge pain, but I would suggest Purrfect Auto Service West Covina for anyone who needs help with their car.
The location was also clean and has easy parking.

Took my car in for a smog check. The check engine light was not on when I took it in. After they failed my car's smog check and showed me the check engine light is on with faults. I said the light was not on when I took it in but the front desk person said I don't know what that light even looked like ‐ HOW INSULTING. He then proceeded on berating my car for the next 10 min and still charged me full amount.
Don't go there for any business!!

I won't give you a star if I can give you zero points. This is an Indian shop suspected of extortion. I do smoke inspection here. The car that had no problem originally broke down after I left for 20 minutes. I will be charged for maintenance, and I will have to pay again for re-inspection. I suggest that you don't patronize this store again.

I understand it’s a business, but there’s a fine line between business, and straight B.S, especially for a customer that has been with them for years. Initial charge $1,900, then when I told the “no,” magically the price became $1500. I got a quote from a nearby shop, they did it for $600. Then this shop tells me they can do it for about $900. If you could have done it for about $900, why not say thag from the beginning? Why play games. Will never even call them again.

Do not under any circumstances go to this place. They rip you off and tell you to replace things you dont need. They also broke my air filter and forced me to buy a new one. Less than perfect. Do not go here!!!!

This place is RIDICULOUS.. Go to the location in Glendora. WAY BETTER SERVICE!!
I go in to do my wife's smog. Before I even get into any pricing I tell owner "I have a coupon for the smog". And I hand it to him. He then tells me "Oh, we don't honor that. Corporate changed their policy." I said "I literally got this yesterday." He then tells me "Oh they sent an email this morning about that." I then ask to see it and he tells me "Oh that's confidential, I can't do that." TF?! The He goes to haggle. "OK, I'll do the smog for for 69.99." I needed it that day so I said yea. Then he calls me 30 minutes later "Oh, you need an oil change. So the smog and oil change $160. What?! No. I told him I have my own filter. He says "OK, $115 then".
Ugh. I needed it done. Then tries to offer me more services. I told him unless they're free, no. I needed this stuff in a pinch so it's my own fault. But damn. NEVER AGAIN.. They need to pay their customers the money they've stolen and shut down!

Liars, please don’t come here check reviews before coming, ?I didn’t check and now my car is with them and they keep adding more problems then my car didn’t have and charging me an excessive amount almost 2000$ for my ford freestyle. I took it for one thing to get fix nothing else. I called this morning, they told me they broke something and they ordered the part without my consent. So now I’m looking at another 500$ , BIG SCAMMERS

This place left me feeling scammed and I don't recommend coming here..
I went for a smog test and they immediately tried to upsell me a service on something not even related to a smog test. Shortly after I denied their recommendation, they broke the news to me that my car failed to pass. I later found out it was because they hooked up my car without checking if my systems were ready. They told me someone erased all the data and I needed to drive it so many miles before I could retest. Then they tried to sell me a fuel injection system cleaning saying it would help.
They could've saved me paying for a test I wasn't ready to take and didn't even honor their coupon and charged me way more than I expected. To top it off, they charged me extra for the electronic transfer fee and told me I would have to start all over and repay the same amount for the retest.

I'd give this place zero stars it it were possible. Save yourself the trouble and money avoid this place at all cost. They've caused more frustration than help.

The owner Hamad was very informative, transparent , and kind. They laid out what needed to be done, and provided multiple options for our budget. Great service, great team!
