I came to visit a friend that was admitted for lower extremities swelling. The hospital was cleaned and well maintained. The receptionist at the visiting desk was very polite and provided guidance to what floor and room my buddy was in. The nursing staff was helpful and were great concerning my buddy's full recovery. There was ample parking and clean visitors restrooms.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Two terrible experiences. Went in last Sept with something in my foot that has formed a hard, painful knot. They refused to do anything even though I couldn't put my foot down from the pain. Dr said if I just soaked it in hot water a few times a day, it'd be fine. By the time I got into a podiatrist, I had an abscess & he pulled 4 shards of plastic from it Took my 16yo after she got hit in the face in sports & nose was swollen. They said it wasn't broken & we shouldn't worry unless it still hurt after 2wks. Guess what? It was broken & now she needs a rush surgery to fix it This place is not worth it.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. They take forever i was here 6+ hours. When i got my results back they told me to wait 15 more minutes to get my medicine and that was a complete lie it took an hour just to grab some medicine. Horrible place, hire more workers if its always this busy.

I really wanted to give a shout out to the whole team working yesterday at the Emergency Dept. I went in thinking I was having either a severe asthmatic situation or cardiac issue. The triage staff were amazing, got my info, took my vitals. The PA I saw was wonderful, he never made me feel silly for thinking I may be having a cardiac issue, instead he evaluated me and ran some tests. The staff were so kind, from the nurses to the phlebotomists to the rad tech and everyone in between. I was there for about 4 hours but it was busy and it's a great timeframe for being an ER and that was pretty efficient since I ended up with a pretty firm diagnosis, medications and recommendations to discuss with my PCP.

the family health part of this hospital has the most frustrating employees i have ever came across. i have told them many times that i have a STRICT deadline for a physical and they assure me that it's fine. since then they have ordered the wrong blood testing TWICE and now i called to make an appointment to have my papers filled out and they assure me that i can stop by whenever and just have them filled out really quick and instead the woman at the desks says that the doctor has patients and they'll call me when she has filled them out, either today or tomorrow. THIS IS WHY I ASKED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!!! the woman over the phone said i could stop by to have them filled out NOT THAT I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE THE PAPERS HERE!!!! it's like they try to make everything as difficult as possible for no reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they have made a simple physical and titers turn into SEVEN visits

This hospital is the worst hospital I have ever visited in my life, from the entrance to the security, to the receptionists, I went because my daughter's doctor referred her, and the receptionists didn't even want to take the note that the doctor sent, it lasted half time there, and it wasn't even to register my daughter, I better left and took her to another hospital, what a bad experience, what poor quality of service they have at Queen of the valley???

This update applies to a single team member at Emanate Queen of the Valley. Maria, R.N. On the 5th floor embodies what it should mean to be a kind, compassionate, exemplary health care professional. From her professional appearance, to her kind but confident demeanor, to her gentle care and guidance, and ability to clearly articulate and communicate key information to her patients and their family members. Because she is truly exceptional, and because the other team members are clearly not held to a standard of any means, Maria shines brightly and was such a welcomed reprieve from one of the most uncomfortable and vulnerable nights of my mothers entire life. Maria embodies a true regard for the importance of her actions, words and the subsequent impacts on others in need. She should be viewed as a roll model to an expected standard of care at any healthcare facility. If she is not in a leadership position, she should be. If she was provided with an opportunity to mentor others to achieve her standard of care and performance, she could substantially impact what is broken about this otherwise degrading institution. At the very least, we hope that her good work and intentional efforts to provide quality and reassured care are recognized.

Very tentative nurse here at the ICU. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. we had a bad experience at the emergency room. We have to ask other nurse to get blankets for my dad because they have laid him there open for about two hours without covering him up. I'm not going to ding them because it was an emergency room and I understands that they are so swamped and busy all the time.

The Labor and Delivery staff has been great. I was terrified to go to any hospital because if you look at reviews most of them are awful. I love America but our health care system is a nightmare. So i was literally thinking of all these bad scenarios in my mind and praying for the best. My prayers were answered. My baby was treated well. I never had to leave her side. And the entire process has been smooth. They don't disturb you a lot like most places, they don't force u to use their formula, they provided a clean room for us to stay in overnight. I asked for a blanket and they brought two which is great because it's cold inside of all hospitals im grateful my baby entered this world at Emanate health Queen of the Valley. The team is awesome. Ive seen videos online of nurses all over the world being so rough with babies but they weren't. I didn't want the Hep B shot and they explained why i should without pushing it on me. It has Just been an overall great experience. I wish everyone could have a nice birthing experience.

Makes you wait forever to get a room, freezing in lobby and lack of communication with the visitors. 2nd baby for myself and never will be here again.

Just a FYI, parking IS available closer to the building. Parking is NOT only available under the solar panels as I was told by the security from the "cancer building."

ER: as a physician myself and a patient going to this ER , it is horrible under Emanate management . Nobody is explaining to you what is going on, it is now 3.5 hours before somebody comes. By the way, the X-ray tech ( a big black guy) needs more training on kindness and empathy.

I went in to Registration at 8:15 for an Outpatient Lab work. 3 people after me was called and processed so stood up (8:50) and approach the counter. I was told she called my name at 8:20 which is NOT TRUE. Anyway, I was out by 9:10 or after an hour that could be done in 15min. What a waste of time.
