“In the mornings, there is a checker assisting in the self check out. No checker register is open no matter how long the self check line is. Finally, after several customers asked any employees about getting another register open and we're told they couldn't open one, magically, after more than 10 minutes and 10 people waiting in self check out, a register was opened.”
“This place is great! I usually take my pups to Banfield at the West Covina Eastland Center though lately, Banfield has been extremely short staffed & thus, have incredibly long wait times / lines. I come here to specifically get my pups’ ears cleaned & anal glands expressed — sometimes for nail trims (pedicures) as well. This place is definitely more “affordable” than Banfield! As in, the prices here are less expensive than Banfield’s. (Although vet care is expensive in general, which is why I use quotes). I’d really like if SH Animal Hospital were to incorporate a user-friendly app like what Banfield has + If you guys can create some sort of membership plan (similar to Banfield’s Pet Wellness plans). Just some suggestions!”
“It's a nice community vet, friendly people and staff. What's not to like? Maybe the Karen's that attend there, but they aren't your problem it's their's(vet). If you can ignore that then it's great. Highly recommend.”
“I can’t say enough great things about the Banfield Pet Hospital in West Covina! From the moment I brought in my cat, Baby Kitty, the entire staff made sure she was comfortable and cared for.
This was her first visit at the vet since she was a kitten, but everyone from the front desk team to the technicians and doctor treated her with so much patience and kindness. I could tell they genuinely care about both pets and their humans.
I also really appreciate how organized and clean the facility is. The staff always greets us with a smile, and scheduling appointments is super easy. Their Wellness Plan makes it so much more affordable to keep up with Baby kittys routine care, which gives me total peace of mind.
Thanks to Banfield West Covina, baby kitty is healthy, happy, and purring her way through life. ?? I’m so grateful for this amazing team and wouldn’t trust anyone else with her care!”

“I came here after an absolutely awful experience at Southern California Animal Hospital, and they graciously accepted me and my cat last minute for much needed xrays. I live over an hour away from SCAH and Adam's, and I very much appreciated them seeing me, especially when it was close to their lunchtime and my cat's meds had worn off, so she was SPICY. The front desk, techs, and doctor were all so friendly and helpful, and even apologetic about my experience with the first place. I am so grateful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”
