“My daughter is in her 3rd and final year at Shepherd of the Valley preschool. She will be starting TK at her big sister’s elementary school next year. We are so sad to leave because it is such a wonderful school. My daughter spent four months at another unnamed preschool and was so unhappy, and I felt like she was neglected. The school has been incredible and she has truly thrived. At her last preschool, she didn’t really talk much. Even at home she was pretty quiet. But she’s been at the school for three years now and she is such a social butterfly. Her vocabulary is astounding to me. She’s able to write her name, write most of her numbers, one through 10, and is able to identify both capital and lowercase letters. It’s a wonderful community as well. I’m they have so many wonderful school events, the staff is so attentive and kind, it really feels like a small family. They are a Lutheran school, but that literally does not affect my child whatsoever. We are Roman Catholic and they don’t push religion on them. They do sing a few like cute religious songs and they do attend chapel once a week on Wednesdays, but I know other families of other faiths that are there and still absolutely love it. I’ll stop there because I’m not gonna keep going on and on about how wonderful the school is. Just believe me when I say it’s truly a wonderful school. They accept students as young as 18 months old. They always have events open to the public and the community so check it out. Or schedule a tour. This is literally just coming from my own heart. I was not asked to write this. They don’t even know I’m writing this, but I just really truly love the school.”

“This is a great school if you want God instilled in your child. They go to chapel every week and my child has been attending since 2 years old. They love the children there and my son has made alot of friends and had alot of love. He moves onto elementary next year and hoping i have the same positive review as i do of the preschool. Ms evelyn and ms karleen are the best.”

“Our toddler started in November 2024 and this was the best decision we made! He loves it there! The program is great! The teachers and staff are amazing - very loving, caring and knowledgeable! Big thanks to Dr. Michelle - she is the best! Our boy loves going to school and comes home with a big smile! We are off to Kindergarten now, but thanks to Turning Point the transition will be easy for everyone! Turning Point is a blessing!”

“After looking at several schools in the area, we are so happy we chose this preschool for our daughter. We have seen such improvement in her communication skills. Mrs. Jennifer is an amazing teacher and is so sweet to the kids. It is such a loving, positive and safe environment. Mrs. Olga is also her wonderful teacher and absolutely adores all the kids. My daughter who is two years old learned the alphabet song and counting numbers 2 weeks in attending this pre school. Definitely recommend!”

“Love this school! I've had my son in since he turned 2. He is almost 4 now and has one year left! He has made such great friends and the teachers and staff are amazing! They have really bonded with my son and make sure he's happy! It's crazy to see how much he has learned and how he has grown socially and mentally! Mrs Chereen and Mrs Trigo are two of the few teachers who have really gone above and beyond to make my son feel loved and at home! The food they serve is better than what I serve at home and they also have weekly activities for the kids such as animals visit and music class! Great school and place!”
