We came all the way from OC. We arrived here just now 4:17 and it's CLOSED. It says close at 5. What's going on ?

Customer service was amazing ! But the drink itself wasn't. My matcha wasn't good at all but the coffee was alright.

Really fabulous ~ great reviews for the reason of a superb atmosphere!! Tucked away in an alley ~ could have been in a small Parisian side street!!

I am a very proud Alfred fan, and I absolutely love their Melrose/Glossier Alley location! This location has speciality drinks that aren't available at their other locations, so I definitely recommend trying something new here. I got their rose very matcha with oat milk which was delicious - perfect hint of rose and I loved the berry syrup/puree at the bottom. As the name gives away, it is located in an alley so there's no interior seating area, but there are some tables and concrete benches outside along the alley. It is a popular LA attraction, but I do love their drinks so I recommend it if in the WeHo/Melrose area.

Delicious and creatively crafted coffee. The pink iced latte (24oz., $7) is exclusive to this location and is a must try - tastes like a chocolate strawberry. The Rico suave burrito ($12) was fantastic and really impressed me of the quality of a coffee shop hot breakfast item. Service was friendly and helpful. Some drawbacks to this location are lack of an indoor space and I believe no bathroom so just fyi might not be the best spot to wfh.

They have unique drinks here compared to a normal Alfred coffee. I got the roseberry matcha with light strawberry syrup and it was pretty good.

I've had Alfred's coffee before but tried this location for the first time... I should've just walked down to Urth Cafe because my large latte tasted like pure milk... I even double checked "there is two shots in here right?" They said yes even tho my cup looks so light

They were a recommendation from our hotel staff. Our coffee was amazing, and we ended up ordering a few times during our stay in Los Angeles. I hope we get to visit a store in person next time we are in town. Definitely worth all the fuss!

This is now the only location with some of the old "Tea Room" drinks - specifically the PINK DRINK. I love the pink drink. It makes me sad I have to come here to get it, but I will always make the adventure. Please never stop serving it and the other Glossier Alley specific drinks!
