PHARMACY STAFF IS VERY RUDE!I called in inquiring if they had my daughters prescription in stock, since my local CVS is experiencing a delay. The pharmacy tech who answered their phone tried to argue with my that theres no way i have a prescription & told me to "LISTEN!"...EXTREMELY RUDE AND GHETTO ATTITUDE!

Bad service, I needed eye drops and I went to the consulting section in the pharmacy section, the lady was so unfriendly and unhelpful.

Hi. I love this pharmacy, however, I wanted to share my story of what happened to me in the parking garage next to this CVS pharmacy. One late night around 11:00pm during the 2nd or 3rd week of November of 2015, I walked off of the CVS Parking garage elevator (8491 Santa Monica Blvd), ground level. I walked to my car which was not very far from the elevator. There were just a few cars parked on this level as it was late at night. There was no one else on the elevator with me. There were no other people in the garage that were visable to me and I did not hear any noises typically made by people such as talking nor footsteps. The place appearted deserted. I walked fairly quickly from the elevator to my car. I unlocked the car and prompty got in. Shut the car door. Started my car while facing forward, so I could see through my windshield. No one was there. I then shifted the car into reverse in order to back out of the parking space. I was still looking forward until I turned my head toward the back of my car, just to make sure nothing was behind my car before I started to back out. When I turned my head back to looked forward, I was immediately startled to see a young man (probably in his 20s) right in front of my left headlight. The right side of his face was completely covered in blood. He was just standing still with no expression on his face. He was not asking for help or asking me to call 911. I was very scared. I started to back my car out of the parking spot and continually watched him as I did this, all the while he just stood still while staring at me or my car. I then turned away for no more than 2 seconds to shift my car into Drive and immediately looked back at him, but he was gone. He disappeared just as quickly as he had appeared moments earlier. I then thought of calling 911, but he was completely gone "in a flash". I am convinced he was a spirit (i.e., a ghost). If anyone has a similar story as mine in this parking garage, please post here.

Because of the location this is my go to cvs. They always have "characters" outside and in their parking deck so it's hard to feel safe making a visit here. The pharmacy is a hit or a miss but most of the time it's a miss. Unfortunately their automated system is not always correct and they are regularly out of prescriptions. Calling to check on prescriptions doesn't always feel welcoming. Hopefully this can improve!

I never write reviews, but my experience at CVS needs one. This is my neighborhood CVS so I come in here a lot for the pharmacy with no issues. Today I stopped in after a hard workout and was experiencing an allergic reaction so I needed to quickly grab allergy medication to handle my reaction. All the self checkouts were taken so I walked up to the two cashiers just standing there talking. One of them asked for my cvs rewards card or phone number. My brain wasn't working so I just said I don't have one and no I don't want one, I just want to checkout. He proceeded to escort me to the self-checkout because "it affects our score". I couldn't believe it. Refusal to help me based on me not having a CVS rewards card on a day I really needed the help.

Pharmacist here was a total dick. We needed to fill an Rx for Narco, he said they were out and refused to look up stock at other locations even though he's able to. Never getting prescriptions from here again.

The most unprofessional and down right CRUELEST transaction in my life at this pharmacy. My vital medication was not delivered as I requested, when I went to pick it up the pharmacist charged me twice, suspended my bank account and KEPT MY VITAL MEDICATION saying smugly I had to wait for a refund, another 3 days. I had to go home and get another credit card but imagine if I didn't have that. JILL KOLIN is her name. SHE IS EVIL. IT IS UNSETTLING that anyone that ignorant of someones health would be that void of emotion or problem solving. She should NOT be put in any position of authority concerning anyone's health or well being. What a MONSTER. I've written to corporate and I will be contacting Gus the manager. CVS has been my pharmacy for 5 years, now I can't even bear to look at those 3 letters. I've changed pharmacies and NEVER RETURNING.

If you have to pick up a prescription at this location give yourself an extra 30 minutes wait. They appear not to have enough employees servicing the customers.

This place at times is fantastic and at times it's a complete nightmare. If you send a prescription here very high possibility they will not fill it until you actually are waiting in line to get help. You will submit your prescription and a regular medication will be on back order.Good luck trying to call someone on the phone that is a recipe for disaster if you expect them to pick up. The staff is nice there is not enough people to be able to help the demand which causes a huge issue consistently. Having to wait in line behind 7 to 10 people. I'm giving them three stars because the staff is at least nice when you get to the front of the line after the 30 45 minute wait.

Healthcare provider here serving the WeHo and Beverly Hills Community The head pharmacist refused to fill a post-exposure-prophylaxis order because I was calling in a verbal order for it; our EHR was down and I was unable to send them an electronic prescription and as such but the head pharmacist decided that it would be better for the patient to contract HIV instead of help save their life. Deplorable. Love that CVS' main website advertises so heavily that they are here for the LGBTQIA community with PrEP and PEP services but specifically DID NOT PAY their pharmacists to become certified in HIV Care which prevents them from filling the above prescriptions without a physicians order...the State of California passed a law to allow pharmacists to do this for both PEP and PrEP if they have this training as long as the pharmacist provides a list of providers for the patient to follow up with in the next couple of weeks. DEPLORABLE. Shame on you CVS Corporate. Furthermore, the head pharmacist will refuse to transfer prescriptions when initiated by the patient, and refuses to transfer them on my behalf when I called for the patient stating that "This is ILLEGAL", and will ignore the other pharmacies request for the medications to be transferred as well. I asked what law I was breaking and the head pharmacist screamed at me telling me that "I cannot tell them how to do their job". On top of that, the head pharmacist will not fill almost ANY controlled prescription stating that "we do not carry that stuff" despite the head pharmacist filling it for other patients. I have spoken to the pharmacist in question directly with absolutely no support and absolute lack of empathy...have spoken to the pharmacy supervisor (who was kind and understanding on the phone) but has clearly not rectified the issue. I have also directly complained to CVS corporate with zero response. My best advice would be to avoid THIS specific CVS. My recommendation would be to use any other CVS in the area if your insurance forces you to use them... or any of the extremely nice and helpful mom and pop pharmacies in the area. Providers like myself try to do their best to make sure you get your prescriptions that you need, but we also need the help of other medical professionals (like pharmacists) and this head pharmacist for some reason does not want to do their job or abide by the Hippocratic oath.

WORST RUN PHARMACY DEPT. in the neighborhood. Lousy, no, non-existent customer service. Service is slow because they never have enough help at the pick up counter, yet there are people milling around in convo.

I waited in the store for one hour and 20 minutes for a prescription that was called in by my doctor 40 minutes before I arrived. Does it take 2 hours to prepare a prepackaged packet? They didn't even have to count out the pills. What took so long?

Have purchased thousands of dollars in clothes from them which i have always enjoyed one of the pants stretched after 2 months and another pair the bottom has shredded. They told me that they would not exchange them after they are worn. Love the clothes but the customer service sucks.

CVS on Santa Monica BLVD is superior in service and their Pharmacy is spectacular. After CVS SUNSET made multiple mistakes with my medication, I called, and JACOBY was amazing and had my medication ready in less that 30 minutes. When I got to CVS, GRACE was wonderful. She has incredible energy and enthusiasm. In today's society filled with violence and sadness, we need more kindness and positivity. The store manager should be very proud of his wonderful pharmacy and associates. They are great ambassadors for CVS.

I visited this CVS in West Hollywood yesterday for my COVID booster, and noticed something disturbing in the patient waiting area. There was a large sponsored standalone spinner loaded up with Christian and Bible books where patients wait before and after their vaccines; no other reading material. I don't want my health care served with a side of religion. It makes me distrust the pharmacy. Have vaccines and medication been tampered with? Can women get their birth control and emergency contraception prescriptions filled? This is really inappropriate. It needs to go.
