To tell you the truth, I love the clothes John Varvatos puts out. The clothes are classy but better yet it feels good but!!!!! I went into the store that's situated inside of Caesars in Las Vegas and the staff on hand didn't even greet me or my wife. None of the staff and I believe there were at least four workers. Too bad because there were some leather jackets that I saw and liked a lot but I will never purchase anything from this store again. Maybe you have to look rich or dress a certain way to get an acknowledgment from these peon workers.

Always liked this store. On Melrose and Robertson. This one and the location in Century City are the best. I don’t mind if no one right away greets me. So what. (See so many on this post that are complaining if they don’t get anyone right away to greet them.) It gives me time first to see everything without getting bothered or smothered. I like that. They know I like my space. Been buying JV for many years. Love their boots! Especially when their heels on men’s boots were a bit higher. Have bought at the Soho location too in NYC.

If you plan on returning something, good luck. I tried to return an item (brand new not worn with a receipt) and had to go through so many hoops it's just not worth it. After two separate visits , multiple emails back and forth, and almost 2 months later I was able to get my money back. No one at this company tried to resolve my issue, they just passed me to a different person and tried to ignore the problem.

Worst sales associates ever! After spending $$$ on gifts for family, they had the nerve to sell the merchandise they were holding me until today.. I had to go online, and reorder... it will not make Christmas and this is all because of the associates on melrose... After this BS, I am taking my business elsewhere... see ya V!

My husband certainly represents.....almost his entire wardrobe is JV, including most of his shoes and boots! Excellent customer service at all the stores, but a special shout out to West Hollywood & Malibu locations. Hands down, some of the most unique designs in men's clothing, with beautiful construction & fabrics. RML

Worst customer service. I live in Beverly Hills and three times I’ve visited this particular location because my husband is a VIP shopper and loves the brand. I was not acknowledged by any service or sales agent when in the store. 10 min went by and still no assistance. Keep in mind no other customer were in the store. We also live in NY and shop at the location in the Upper East Side often. The difference in service is insane. From Beverly Hills rude and inattentive service to NY where they recognize you and remember your name. Even today my husband went inside the BH location and the guy working was so rude. Never again setting foot there. I will be calling customer service.

Typical for a high end designer's store. . outrageous prices for a regular kinda fella. I'd take my chances at ROSS DRESS FOR LESS. LOL Note: I was just tagging along with my brother, who's more financially suited, pardon the pun, than me. LOL

I purchased a pair of John Varvatos Reed Low Top sneakers from NM website for my boyfriend in Feb 2019. My boyfriend didn't wear them until recently. After only five times of wear, he was so shocked to find out that the back-of-shoe cushion collar (the padding around Achilles) of one of the shoes not only totally lost it's shape, but also moved down to the heel, and it makes it impossible for him to walk in this pair of shoes again. I spent almost $400 for that pair of shoes, and they last for only 5 times of wear? This is a defective merchandise for sure. A refund or store credit should be a reasonable request. I emailed their customer service with a picture showing the detail of the defective shoe, but got a simple answer that my order exceeded the 30 day return policy, so they cannot issue me a refund. And my boyfriend also contact John Varvatos's customer service, and they told us it's not their problem and we should contact NM. But hello, NM is your reseller. At the end of the day, the brand itself should be responsible for the product they sell. Even though it exceeded the return window, it doesn't change the fact that it's a pair of defective shoes. Let's see if this brand is confident enough in their product or service to stand behind it 100%. Guys, see the picture of their shoes!!

Super cool location. Always love this brand but shopping in the Melrose store is the best. Staff are fantastic and always willing to go above and beyond.

Don't buy their expensive shoes, they will fall apart after 2 months and then when u contact them about the issue they never replay.
