The hidden parking fee of $50.00 per day is outrageous! Also very limited parking, it was hard to find a parking spot once registered.Elevator out of service for some of visit but service elevator offered.Limited parking and roller carts.Positive note I felt safe, much visible security. Some staff were very friendly.Safety: A lot of visible security, I felt safe.Food & drinks: No restaurant on premises.

This is a terrible place to stay. The service is horrible. They do not clean your room and you have to beg for towels every day. There is no breakfast or coffee available and no place within walking distance to serve you.Rooms: DirtySafety: Large numbers of homeless wandering around and sleeping on the sidewalkFood & drinks: Nothing available

The hotel took a pre-auth on arrival on my debit card which is always expected the three nights & a $300 bond. Instead of using the pre-auth on check out. They refused to give me a receipt saying it would be emailed to me I’m still waiting 5 days later! They then charged the debit card again for the amount three days later and they are still holding the pre-auth! I called and spoke to the rudest front office manager he said they had released the pre-auth. My bank said they had not and I asked him to contact the bank and he refused. Terrible service from a once good hotel that really has gone done hill. The foyer is like a bank staff are behind glass windows! The only staff member that was nice was the gentleman that checked me in. Will never stay again and would advise you to give it a miss

This hotel is very dated and in desperate need of a refresh. Broken items in the rooms, inconsistent signage at the front desk with what you are required to sign and excessive fees for a hotel with little amenities is sad. Seriously, pay $50 to $100 more and stay at another hotel just around the corner from this one. Hard

Abundant and expensive covered parking is right there which was great since it was raining during my stay. Hotel lobby sets the tone for the outdated finishes throughout. For a non-smoking hotel, it sure smells of fresh smoke and smoke from decades ago. Likely some of the smell is in the carpets from the 1990's. The rooms are dated but clean, the mattress and sheets were pretty nice.Safety: It's WeHo, so not much danger on the street.Walkability: The location is the best part of this place.

The location is okay.Very old. The towels have a peculiar smell. The wardrobe can only hang shirt-length clothes.Women's skirts and long clothes cannot be hung. The service is pretty good.

The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was expectacular.

This was probably one of the most underwhelming hotels I have ever had. The photos of the rooms are very deceiving as they are much nicer and more modern than the actual rooms are. They have these great photos of a cool, hip looking on-site lobby bar and it actually doesn't exist. The space is there but looks closed, abandoned, or shuttered since the pandemic. I was refused a later checkout when I called my last night there and wouldn't even be given an hour past the 11am checkout. The parking fee is $50 a night which is COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS and should be called out on the website IN ADVANCE. That is highway robbery. For $200+ a night I should have stayed in a real, more upscale hotel like Hilton or Marriott.

$50 Daily Parking is more expensive that DTLA. This is going to increase the price of your stay by 30-40%, so watch out and plan for it. The location itself is great, but the rooms themselves are dated - it's a very sad hotel.

Others have commented negatively on the age of the hotel and poor room quality/condition. We knew about this beforehand and it wasn't an issue. Rooms are somewhat dated but, hey, no biggie. Lots of hot water and room staff were helpful and friendly. The same can NOT be said for the front desk staff. Booked on Expedia for $166US a night. But was charged 1$66 for the 1st night and $177 for the second. We stayed a 3rd night and the desk clerk initially told me that the charge would be the same but was charged $197. Manager said this would have been clear to me on Expedia but that's not the case. He then claimed "dynamic" pricing is standard over the course of an already-booked reservation, but I've stayed at plenty of hotel/motels and this is the first time after booking a room that I've ever had the cost of the room escalate after the fact. Seems sleazy and notice that this hotel never comments on any negative reviews and also notice all the complaints about the front desk. The hotel is well situated but I'd avoid it if you don't want to get in an argument with the front desk--the manager insisting we were in two separate rooms when we were clearly in one, the desk clerk making an error but remaining silent while the manager told me I was wrong. I rarely write such a negative review but I've never had such a bad front desk experience

We stayed from January 21-24. The staff was very helpful and friendly but the hotel was old and worn. We were given a one bed room loft with a pull out. The bed was upstairs in loft. Being in our 70s that was not a good thing.PROS:…friendly and helpful staff…parking was good…being right next door to Trader Joe’s was nice.CONS:…long check in. One person to help five different families check in.…Room very dark and poorly lit.….shocking set up…inconvenient.…room smelled of disinfectant and old age.…bathroom downstairs and bed upstairs was not convenient.…shower controls were sketchy and lacked counter space.…downstairs tv took a very long time at come online.… one of the vending machines work after taking a payment.

The hotel is very dated with popcorn, ceilings, and black carpeting. My only request was that my room be near the elevator. When I opened the door of the room, they gave me there was mud and feces, pouring out of the sink and onto the floor. They moved me to a second room. The second room had zero hot water because they said they were having a problem with the boiler. They then moved me to a third room, which was as far away from the elevator, as you could possibly get. The room had a bad odor but I stayed in it anyway. When I checked out, I brought all the problems to the managers attention and showed him the picture of my first room. He shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do and that I was already upgraded in the 3rd room , so therefore, he could not give any discount for all the problems that I had. I will never stay in this hotel again and I was embarrassed by his reaction.Walkability: Close to weho
