“Melrose Avenue is a must-visit for fashion lovers and anyone who enjoys unique stores. From vintage shops to high-end boutiques, there’s something for everyone. I love just walking around and checking out all the street art and murals. The area also has amazing cafes and restaurants, so it's the perfect place for a day of shopping and people-watching”
“Fold the disclosure. I only went here to see a movie. The stores were all closed. The windows are full of beautiful and interesting household items and appliances. I'm sure it's heaven for designers”
“The music and restaurant scene at Sunset Plaza on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles is absolutely buzzing! From trendy cafes to upscale dining spots, there's something for every palate. Many restaurants offer outdoor seating, allowing diners to soak in the vibrant atmosphere while enjoying delicious cuisine. As for music, you can often catch live performances at some of the bars and lounges along the strip, adding to the lively ambiance. Whether you're craving a gourmet meal or looking to discover the next big music act, Sunset Plaza has it all, making it a hotspot for both foodies and music lovers alike.”
“Y'know, Elton throws his annual post-Oscars party here. Not sure how my invitations get lost every year, but Jamie W. and I found ourselves strolling Melrose Avenue and facing this monolithic structure. Actually 'monolithic' is not the right word because the complex consists of three asymmetrical buildings in three colors - Blue (1975), Green (1988), and Red (2013).No surprise how cavernous it was. Designed by renowned architect Cesar Pelli (...he later designed the Salesforce Tower), it has a similarly austere feeling which amplifies the emptiness inside. It's not a retail shopping center, it's primarily a series of designer showrooms so you have to have a lot of ka-ching to be considered a serious consumer. We were just looking for the toilet.RELATED - Exploring LA? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: bit.ly/2TWT63v”
