First of all this place is for both Avis and Budget cars. It is run by the same people.Please save yourself the headache and go to other rentals nearby. The woman who works is ridiculously rude and unprofessional. She desperately needs to learn how to deal with customers.I came here twice in the last month only to get no car. Yes, I reserved both times! But this woman needs help!!

Reserved an SUV more than 10 days before use. When we arrived we’re told they were out. (What’s the point of the reservation?) Then was told we would have to get a refund for the difference at final destination. Rented in LA and was doing one-way to Fresno. Arrive at Fresno, and they tell us you can only do the difference refund at point of origin and just circled a number for help. Extremely frustrated with lack of customer service and care.

I wish I had taken the time to read reviews before booking a car at this location. Much like other customers, I faced the frustrating situation of the car not being available upon my arrival. It turned out that the previous renter hadn't returned the vehicle on time, and I was not informed about this delay. I waited at the location for over an hour (previous renter never arrived and Avis employee didn't have the correct phone number to contact them), eventually resorting to booking a car from a competitor, as Avis had no vehicles available that day.Regrettably, the employee on site never offered any assistance. This experience reflects poor management and communication.

Another sub-par Avis location.For whatever reason, staff was super slow for pick up when I arrived on time for my reservation.Pain to get to the actual car too. You need to go back out the doors and take a shaky elevator down to the garage.Car had a ton of issues on pick up. Standard dings around the car like usual Avis pick ups. Tire on super low pressure.Won't be coming back to this location unless it was my only option.

They didn't have the car that I reserved, so I had to take a smaller one and split up my family into two cars. Not great. And I've never heard of a car rental charging $50 if you return your car without washing it. Don't think I'll be using this location again.

Had a reservation for an economy car. When I got there all they had was a Toyota Tundra truck or a luxury vehicle. I told them I couldn't take the truck as it was far too big and so she offered me a Mustang that another customer (who was still in the office) had just refused as a window was broken!I understand the holidays are busy and there was only one substitute employee working, but why oh why am I allowed to make an advance reservation when they don't have the car available? How many people's plans have been disrupted or ruined because of this? Surely computer reservation programs are more sofisticated than that.

Absolute disaster - they did not have a car for me but failed to email, text or call. The lady at the counter was unapologetic and said it was my fault because my voicemail was full and that she cannot see my email address because I’m not an Avis member (I have the highest possible membership btw). Laughably bad.

I was pretty excited about how convenient this location was to where I was staying in LA, but I was dumbfounded when upon returning the car I learned that I *needed to have it washed before returning it (bc they can't clean cars on the premises, so they outsource it to customers).* They claim that there was a sign that said it needed to be returned in the same condition, but no one explained that this meant having any dust or dirt from normal everyday city driving (see photos!!). I was in a time crunch but had to drive it down the street to a drive-through car wash with a long line and missed an appointment as a result and made my ride wait on me. Otherwise they would have charged me at least an extra $50 and I didn't trust they wouldn't jack up the price further.

We initially rented a car for one week for business purposes using their Amazon discount deal. First, when reviewing contract on premises we were charged for an additional driver. I asked why and they said, "all additional drivers are for added cost." I told them I've ever heard that and as husband and wife we should be viewed as one. The Avis rep corrected the contract stating for spouses - there is no charge for additional driver. But he never even asked us or told us that they would be adding the extra charge. After first day of rental work was extended, I called into Avis to have reservation extended one week. We were told the deal was not able to be extended and we would have to double the price. I tried calling customer service and received the same message. We had to RETURN the first rental and sign and brand new contract under a new reservation. Super time consuming and inconvenient. Then when we returned the car, we were told we didn't bring the car back in the same condition because it wasn't washed. We were never told the car had to be washed. The Avis rep pointed to some vague statement in the contract "car to be returned in same condition." I've rented cars for 25years and never had to wash the car before returning. Both times when dealing with the Avis rep, he never mentioned having to wash the car. They said they have no washing capability. That seems like a business bad decision and not something that should be passed down to customers covertly. Bad business practice. We will never rent from this Avis again. Horrible customer service and disconcerting that they are relying on customers to clean their vehicles.

This place is the best place to rent cars. Wafa always has the best selection and prices in all of Los Angeles. I needed and SUV and she got me into a Tahoe when none of the other agencies or locations could. I will now only rent from her when I need a car in Los Angeles. Thank you!

Originally I booked this car in the middle of the night due to a last minute family emergency. What should have been a stressful time was made so much easier due to Wafa and her kindness and professionalism . I have to say that from start to finish, Wafa made the entire rental process with Budget seamless. There is a reason I always find myself coming back to that Budget location that she works at. Originally I went to that one bc it's closest to me and because I read so many wonderful things about that location, probably because Wafa works there. She doesn't just go above and beyond for people - it's way more than that and you both feel and see it as soon as you enter. I admire her work ethic and professionalism so so much and learned a lot from her actually during my rental process. Prior to arriving, I had a chaotic morning and didn't anticipate that many long drives. I was coming back from hospital and airport back and forth because my family member ended up passing away. I was late that day, was shocked and my mind was all over the place because everything happened so quickly. Instead of be upset or change my reservation which she couldVe easily done, Wafa actually assured me because she knew I was already stressed. She put my mind at ease, answered all my questions and made sure the process was so seamless and efficient. She also went the extra mile, too, if I didn't mention it already. She is very solution oriented and knows how to solve problems quickly. You can tell she goes above the standard, is very organized, extremely reliable, way beyond professional and cares about this job and the customers she deals with. This branch is really really really LUCKY to have her to be honest and I'm pretty shre she is the reason that ALOT of people including me keep coming back. I will def be coming back because of her. Thank you so much again Wafa for everything! What a wonderful role model for other employees to follow myself included. -Samah D

Do not go to this location. I made my reservation with Avis through COSTCO. The on site service rep tried to force me to pay an additional $12/day fee for an additional driver. I refused to do so as COSTCO’s website is very clear that additional driver fees are included in their pricing. I told dude I wasn’t having it and was prepared to walk and he refused to give me my credit card and license back until I asked for it at least 4 times. He showed me some b/s internal e-mail that (in truth) did not apply to my situation to support his case. I called AVIS and they were very clear that this should not have happened as they have an arrangement with COSTCO. In the end, I got my rental 5 hours later from the location on Broadway in Santa Monica.

Dirty cars and management doesn't care all. I asked him a question about the contract and he told me to call customer service and he couldn't help me. Totally unprofessional.
