Last week I called and was quoted a price of ~$930 to replace 4 tires. I price shopped and found another shop within 5 miles that would do the same job for $730. I called back Pep Boys to ask if they'd price match, they said yes, I just needed to bring all the documentation to confirm it was the same service/tires/pricing. I spent the time to print the required docs, and went down to the store. When I arrived, the manager would not honor the price match, despite the fact his associate said they would over the phone. The manager said he had just received an email from corporate that morning, saying they can't price match anymore, that he hadn't yet communicated the hours long policy to the associate. The way I see it, the manager chose to lose and significantly inconvenience a reoccurring customer instead of explaining himself to corporate as to why he hadn't yet communicated the new policy to his associates. Headed to Just Tires!

If you’re a woman, NEVER go there. They’ll try to rip you off by scaring you with FAKE issues. With appointment or not you’ll get your car back 8 hours later for a service they most likely haven’t done!They pulled out a whole list of issues at the end and quoted me 3k-5k$ imaginary repairs!Good job though, I’ll never go back to any Pep Boys EVER again.

Excellent service provided by Milton! Able to squeeze me in for a same day oil change. Very efficient and thorough, great customer service! Will definitely come back! Would highly recommend!

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at this tire shop. I strongly advise against going there under any circumstances. Despite waiting for over 6 hours, they only changed our tires when we were the last car in line. When we requested tire balancing, a staff member rudely told us to leave. We had important commitments elsewhere, and if not for that, we would have involved the authorities. This place deserves to be avoided entirely. We intend to escalate this matter with Pep Boys customer service, and as evident from numerous complaints, it's evident that this establishment lacks any concern for its customers.

This shop is by far one of the worst and most unfriendly establishments I have ever encountered. Despite having a scheduled appointment at 10:00 a.m., the staff showed a complete lack of interest and failed to assist me in resolving any of my issues. Moreover, they attempted to charge me additional fees and even resorted to shouting at me. My experience felt like an absolute nightmare. To make matters worse, they didn't finish the job until 8:00 p.m., causing a significant delay. I strongly advise against visiting this shop and suggest prioritizing your time and respect elsewhere.

Appointment was at 8AM. They didn't show up until 8:30AM. I made the appointment in person the previous day for 8AM. I explained to Milton that I need to have the tires balanced on the car not off. Milton said no problem and quoted me $100. Once they did open Dave (no last name) said that it's impossible to balance the tires as agreed and thst there was no way they would have said it could be done. He kept talking over me and was quite combative. Staay away from this place.

PEP BOYS NEEDS SOME PEP IN THEIR STEP! It's a shame, I have been loyal to this location but after today, will no longer be. I called yesterday and was hung up on numerous times. I figured they were busy, so I called back-ONLY TO BE PUT ON HOLD FOR 10 MINUTES. No one ever came to the phone. Again, I figured it was a Monday. Today, I called and got an appointment right away. When I got there, Hugo was really nice and personable. I waited and HOUR AND HALF for an oil change.NOW FOR THE BEST PART- When it came for me to check out another older guy was "helping me." I asked for a coupon because the prices had gone up significantly. He said to open the link on my phone (which WAS ON MY PHONE.) I opened the link and there were no coupons. He began to ARGUE WITH ME that "he didn't say that, he said to go to google and put in the search engine Pep Boys." REALLY? Is that why you sent a link to my phone. Anyway, even though he's old school he never learned that the customer is always right.He then answered a call ON THE FIRST RING and began to help the person on the phone!!! Unbelievable! I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone yesterday and was hung up on as noted above.Lastly, I asked Hugo when I came in if he could help me with the car phone holder and that I would tip him. He just blew it off.That was $20.00 you just missed out on.In sum, the service has gone way down hill and the prices have gone up.I'm out!

Yeah, Yaya for Pep Boys! I knew they'd come thru for me. Two new tires $220, lifetime warranty. As a young girl growing up my Father would take our Family vehicles to Manny, Moe, and Jack, for anything he couldn't do himself. And they have always come thru for me!

I know this service center may have an occasional challenging right up but i found my experience smooth, accurate, priced with value in mind, honored coupons and was what i needed at the time, 4 mounted tires on time, they kept my appointment, however was a few mionutes late opening the business first thing in the morning. The yong man at the front desk was kind, intelligent, and calming to anyone who had a question. Id go back with all of that in mind, no i wouldnt expect perfection but accuracy and value and the job done right was the goal.

On the positive side, everyone I interacted with at the shop was courteous/nice and appeared to be hardworking. The negative review is because I had an appointment at 1pm for tire install. After checking in, I received a text with a link to check the status of my car. It said my car was "in process" and estimated completion time at 5pm. I hung around in the neighborhood and then showed up at 5pm (because of the link said the car would be complete around 5pm), but work on my car hadn't even started yet. So I ended up having to uber home and back the next day. I wonder if maybe certain staff called in sick or quit unexpectedly, but no one told me that that was the case. As I mentioned, the employees I interacted with seemed courteous, professional, and hardworking, so I think the issue is that the online system is either allowing too many bookings and/or the shop is not properly staffed. Also, it would be good if the link showing the status of the vehicle was able to show that the car was in line to be serviced, as opposed to actually being serviced. If I had known that work hadn't started on my car, I would have ubered home earlier and not hung around waiting until 5pm.

As bad as it could get. Pep Boy on Sepulveda in W. Los Angeles is where no one should take their vehicle. Incompetent technician and management. To top it off , the disrespectful technician became belligerent and lost his temper , started cussing at me while the manager was no where to be found. It took them 2 hours to mount a single tire on a loose wheel!!!. To make the matter worse, my car was also damaged. I followed up with Pep Boys the same day, filling a complaint, after receiving a routine call from the store manager, 2 weeks later nothing else has happened. Tire Rack needs to vet the shops they recommend, I hold Tire Rack partly responsible for putting me in this position. I would give a 0 star if I could. Shame. Don't fall for the pretty stock photos on Yelp, the shop is nothing like that.

Unbelievable how F....ING bad this location service their customers, even if you have a scheduled appointment, DON'T waste your time, they will tell you the time and then after that will add another two horas, they have no control of the services, what car to service first or last, they lie to you, and the trick they use is simple, like in my case, I was there for a tire change, wait till the stipulated time from the clerk to expire, ask him what the stats was, he comes back and tells me that would take another 45 minutes, I ask him for my car keys back, he told me the car was on the lift already. Still, I for sure was going to get my car back within the new estimated time. One hour and 45 minutes later I was finally at the counter paying for a CRAPY and UNPROFESSIONAL service, go someplace else, you will be sorry if you try, and the worse part is they blame the corporate office for their lies, AMAZINGLY F...ING BAD, NEVER AGAIN.

BAIT AND SWITCH. AVOID!!!!Scheduled a "Free Engine Light Code Pull Service Package" on the website. It says they will check the codes for a Service Engine light. I get there (had to wait 10 mins just to get into the parking lot with zero help from any of the employees walking around) and say I had an appointment for the free check. I am told they DO NOT do the free check, that it will cost $100. Why wont they do the free check? Because they don't have the machine, according to the manager. I looked on Amazon, the "machine" costs $20.... And they don't have one. It seems it was all just a bait and switch, promise something free, charge me $100. I seem to never learn my lesson with this place. I've had so many issues with Pep Boys over the years and most of the employees are surly and rude. This is TRULY the last straw. AVOID. Absolute garbage place.

Terrible service. Pathetic management.I made an appointment one week ahead of time for tire installation at this location for 12pm.I called 30 minutes before I came in and they said it would take 1.5 hours, which was upsetting because I had scheduled an appointment, but I decided to go anyways just to get it done.I sat in the waiting room for 6 hours, as they continuously promised my car was next. They didn’t start working on my car until 4:45pm. Finished at 6. At any point they could have told me it was going to take longer and maybe I should leave and come back later.What a complete disregard for their customers time and a complete waste of my day.The manager blamed it on their scheduling service software and refused to take ANY responsibility. Pathetic.Terrible experience. Will not be coming back. I now hate pep boys
