“Hare Krishna! Radhe Radhe!

Every time I go there someone is singing bhajans or discussing Bhagvata Geeta. The bhajans are melodious and full of devotion. Sitting there from 15 minutes will re-energize you. I’m truly blessed to have discovered this place recently. See the attached POV video of entering the temple.”

“truly taken the sacrifices and prayer from each generation to prepare for the breakthrough according to the will of God. This photo is a reminder of how we are called to gather, fellowship and love each other. I'm looking forward to bigger doors opening for all reading this. We are blessed. Team Smiley”

“We love the Church our Parish for the past 30 years. Since I was a young adult very welcoming church, we got married 20 years ago with the Blessing of Father Michael Mandala, then our 3 kids got Baptized here, after that holy communion and Confirmation. This will be our Church always. ????”

“The Pastor teaches what the BIBLE SAYS, not what people WANT to hear to make them feel good. The kids love learning about God in children's church. The 1st lady is the sweetest, she's loving and makes everyone feel like family. This church is an example of how Christ expects us to come together.”

“I am pleased to provide a strong testimonial for Nessah Synagogue, a beacon of light within our local Jewish community. The Shabbat services and High Holiday services offered at Nessah Synagogue are nothing short of exemplary, providing a spiritual experience that is both uplifting and enriching. The warm and welcoming environment cultivated by the synagogue fosters a sense of community and belonging, making each visit a truly memorable one.

Nessah Synagogue is renowned for its great atmosphere, where individuals of all backgrounds come together in unity and harmony. The knowledgeable rabbis at Nessah Synagogue impart wisdom and guidance, enriching the spiritual journey of all who attend. Additionally, as an educational center for children, Nessah Synagogue plays a vital role in instilling values and teachings that will shape the future generations of our community.

“Absolutely beautiful, neat and big size temple , with great architecture with many rooms and areas, you would never imagined that such immense temple structure would exist in pacific palisade right on Sunset! I always thought pacific palisade was a fun city with few Jews in it!”

“Every summer, the Gardena Buddhist Church transforms into a lively street party for the Obon Festival -- and I never miss it. The entire block shuts down for colorful Obon dancing under the glow of paper lanterns, while the air fills with the sizzling aroma of chicken and beef teriyaki. Rows of food stalls tempt you with chewy dango, fresh musubi, fluffy shaved ice, and ice-cold drinks -- the ultimate fuel for dancing the night away. This year, Labubu even showed up to hang out and dance with us, and it made the night extra fun and unforgettable. Between the music, the laughter, and the mouthwatering food, it's a joyful way to celebrate tradition and community, one bite and one dance step at a time.”

“I attended my first Wednesday night class 6 months ago. It quickly became part of my weekly routine. Dechen LA is a warm and welcoming place to study and practice with others.

Being around folks who want to live kinder, wiser, more peaceful lives has totally reinvigorated my meditation practice. The Buddhist texts we study each week have inspired me to do a lot of reading and studying each night at home.

Roz, the instructor on Wednesday nights, is great at being inclusive and welcoming to newbies like me while also providing great insight for the more advanced practitioners.

I look forward to it every week!”

“Dropped off something since my last day of 4-5-20 and it was totally different from that time for social distancing of those who need to be there for that moment, I fought back the tears because of the memories of my family in Christ and missing them so much because we are family.”

MSIA is the mystical home in my heart. Also, the physical property has been beautifully remodeled since I first visited decades ago. They have masterfully up leveled this historic property.”

“I love this place! There are two of them right next to each other. The guy working at the smaller one is very friendly and funny. Great selection. I always spend so much time in there. I love supporting local bookstores compared to just going to Barne's and Noble/Borders. There's a bookstore kitty too!”

“Volunteering here with the other church group and haven’t had experience with the Salvation Army Church prior that. It is respectful work they do in helping the most vulnerable people, homeless by feeding and giving cloths. They also had karaoke and painting for the people.
It is wonderful that other churches and volunteers can offer their hands and feet to contribute at their platform. It was my pleasure serving the people in need.”

“The noontime Mass was held at the parish hall outside my favorite church to visit (with great sermon) despite that I arrived a little late in order to abide by social distancing due to increasing cases from the omicron variant in the country.”
