It is with genuine disappointment that I recount my recent visit to Trader Joe’s, an establishment heretofore synonymous in my mind with conviviality and attentive service. Regrettably, the experience was marred by an encounter at the register with a cashier named Sima, whose demeanor might best be described as discordant with the welcoming spirit typically found within these walls. From the outset, her curt disposition and palpable impatience rendered the checkout process unduly uncomfortable; a most unwelcome sensation, especially in the early hours when one might reasonably hope for a modicum of kindness.
Inasmuch as I endeavored to offer a courteous farewell, my gesture was not met with the customary warmth, it was met with a conspicuous display of irritation; an eye roll and a frown, as if my mere presence had imposed an intolerable burden. Never having encountered Sima before, I can only hope that our paths diverge permanently, for her comportment is substantially at odds with the ethos that has made Trader Joe’s a beloved destination. One enters seeking sustenance and leaves, ideally, with spirits uplifted; however, this morning’s exchange achieved quite the opposite. It is my sincere hope that this feedback will prompt reflection, lest one discordant note sour the harmonious reputation of an otherwise delightful marketplace.

I love this traders Joe's the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Never had a bad experience, been going here for about 2 years consistently.

Hey yall ? so I was on the hunt for these scooby snacks my friend's brother told me about that he got from trader Joe's up north. So I head to traders Joe's on Sepulveda store #33 and as I'm looking for them I can't find them because i dont know the name or have picture. But i gave her a brief description ans she says lets find them. We looked but was unsuccessful but she says wait we going to find them. And she recruits Ms.Veronica..so we all look off the description i gave but none was on the floor. Then Ms.Veronica says I believe another customer asked about these let me go to the back and see what I can locate. Did i mention they are seasonal So a few minutes or so passed and then them doors swung open and he comes Ms Veronica with a box of the scooby snacks i been tastings allday long at work. You get a bag, you get a bag and you get a bag ???? You know Ms.Stacy could have been like nah we don't have any or no I don't know what you talking about. But nah she did brush me off or rush..she saw it to the end. I'm am not a regular trader Joe shopper, but after this filled adventure mini savagery hunt with EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DETAILED ENGAGEMENT I AM NOT. Thank you management at store #33 for crew member like Stacy and Veronica they are the super dope. Yall definitely need more like them. And shout out to Catilian (sp) (I didn't have my glasses on) who hopped on the register and gave me a speedy checkout. Me and my coworkers at southern california hospital ? are going to enjoy our scooby snacks ???? Sincerely MaiMai PepsiPrincess

These guys are always very strict in a rude way when you get there right at 9 pm closing time. The least you could do is be polite and let me grab a single item quicker than the other patrons would even make it to the check out line

Easy to access. Variety of options albeit a small store overall. Like the vibe of the store, better than the big commercial outfits.

It's not very big, but it has everything.
I bought grass-fed milk here and drank it well during my trip.
I bought Everything Bagel and Aglio Olio Seasoning and am using it well.

TJ’s just does it right, baby! We love stopping here en route to LAX to pick up fresh flowers, beverages and snacks when we’re picking up friends & family from the airport. Friendly. Clean. Organized.
