All my animals went to Anza Animal Clinic since the early 1990s when Dr. Watasi first bought the practice. That was for 35 years! He and Dr. Spadero were THE BEST vets, very knowledgable and always attentive. Dr. Watasi was a great vet. He hired Dr. Spadero about eight years ago. We loved her too! We always could expect a call back from them regarding our pets. We trusted them completely. The rest of the veterinary team were friendly and attentive. Sadly, Dr. Watasi retired last year. Everyone deserves to retire but the new owner soon fired the whole team, and even Dr. Spadero was suddenly gone. The new vet then retired herself and sold to a corporation. We couldn’t even talk to the new corporate vet to get a prescription refill. The place has become impersonal and the opposite of how it used to be. Anza doesn’t exist anymore. We have thankfully tracked down Dr. Spadero in Camarillo at Mission Oaks Veterinary Clinic. We are so grateful to have her back!

I just moved here from Alabama. Sue my Chihuahua is my baby. She was having trouble breathing. I was so scared. I ran in with her and they couldn't have been more helpful. She is much better today. I thank them for being so helpful to this dog momma

Dr. Andy is the best. He is smart, compassionate, and most important listens to his clients. Unlike other vets we have gone to, he won’t try and sell you to do unnecessary things just to make money.

Was a great place to take your animal but I question the purpose of the new owner. I went there for over 20 years and after they removed to two vets I have frequented I called with a question regarding a 16 year old terminally ill cat to be told none of their vets had seen my cat and no one called back. Considering my cat had been no place else and they had all his records I cannot believe how heartless and irresponsible.

Absolutely amazing! Just moved to Thousands Oaks, and I was leary on finding a new vet. I had been with my previous vet for 12 years. Everyone here was great and I was so pleased with the doctor. Abby will continue to go here. Thank you for a wonderful experience. One more thing, the kitties that live there are soooo adorable and friendly.

I have been bringing my dogs here for the last 25 years. Anza's staff is always lovely and friendly! It's clear they all love animals and do anything to make both furry friends and their humans feel like family.

I like all of the veterinarians and the staff is great, too.In 2022 I was on vacation for about 3 weeks. Both of my cats became ill while I was away, so my cat sitter took them to the Clinic. The staff was very helpful for both me, out of the country, and my cat sitter. They dealt with the circumstances in an empathetic and professional manner.

Dr Spadara was highly recommended by my neighbor.Made an appointment for my dogs ear as a new patient. The ear was examined and Cleaned. Yeast was present, Osurnia was recommended. Its a 2 part treatment. An appointment was made for second treatment but was cancelled. Apparently Dr Spadora left the practice. My appointment was cancelled and i stressed my concern for the medications efficacy and the drug manufacturing directions for 7 days in-between treatment. I was given an appointment 11 days later, pleading for 7 days according to the manufacturer recommended dosage.Nothing they could do.I returned, was giving a new Dr, who recommended putting my dog under anesthesia for a cleaning which he already had.He said it was full of debris. Apparently, if the medication was given according to manufacturing directionsthe ear wouldnt have been infected. I told him i wanted to stay oncourse with his treatment plan from Dr Spodara. Then I was told I had to pay for an exam and ear cleaning plus the medication which I already paid for.I told the office manager I was not going to pay and that I didn't like my appointment being shuffled and cancelled and charged for an exam and cleaning twice. She told me to find another office.

DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FROM THEM.We just paid $66 for 15 pills. Costco charges $22. Another one of my dogs medications they charge $48 and Costco charges $18.Find out first if Costco carries your meds before you let ANZA rip you off.

When we moved to Thousand Oaks we needed to find a new vet for our 2 cats and dog. We decided upon Anza and couldn’t be happier with our choice. They’ve helped figure out an allergy issue that our Golden Retriever had been dealing with for years, did well visits for our cats, and now help us with vet services for a new puppy. They take their time, answer your questions, and are extremely friendly.

Dr. Alexander is the best. I was so lucky to find her a couple of years ago and drive over 30 minutes to see her because she truly is special. I know all of my pets are in the best care. This clinic is great too. Super calm and organized. Everyone I have interacted with here has been great.

I spoke to the Heather at Anza Animal Clinic yesterday at my the fact that Anza misquoted me for a service, did not go over the plan of care with me or my partner on the phone or when dropping off my cat, FORGED my signature on the plan of care with the estimated prices, and then the vet technician bullied me, refused to listen, and treated me like a criminal. Heather was extremely rude to me on the phone and denied that these events happen. I payed thousands of dollars to Anza and this is not how you treat customers. Yes I am upset about the poor quality veterinary care Anza provided, but that is legal. I am speaking up about the fraud they committed. Please do not take your pet here and put yourself through this kind of emotional trauma.

Best vet clinic I’ve ever been to! My dogs life was saved when she was stung by a bee and went into anaphylactic shock. They took me in last minute and saved her. Very knowledgeable vets and get you in last minute.
