It's funny how many people claimed to have not received shoes and not received a refund after several conversations with owner and associate, my dear friend also had dozens of shoes from there and even myself bought pair and she just told me what's been going on with a order and out of curiosity decided to check the reviews and was shocked to see how many similar situations. I've encouraged my friend to not shop there anymore and others who are also loyal customers. Very odd behavior from this store, unless in store purchase highly reccomended no orders to store and honestly just wouldn't give them business at all after these situations. And don't bother trying to reply to this as I will not* be removing this as I have heard you request others to do so. This account is discreet for a reason. Don't treat loyal customers like this.

I highly recommend Westlake Shoes (in the TJ Maxx shopping center on Thousand Oaks Blvd.) to both men and women. I can't say enough good things about this shop. I always have trouble finding comfortable shoes elsewhere, but when I walk into Westlake Shoes, I know that Ron or Tim will help me find exactly what I need. I remember Tim telling me a few months ago that when women are looking for shoes for a wedding that are both comfortable and stylish, they are always so happy they came to this store. So when my daughter got engaged, I went straight there as soon as I found my mother-of-the bride dress, confident that they would fit me in something that would dazzle, yet allow me to enjoy the night without pain! And sure enough, they did. I am so happy I came here for those shoes. They carry a wide variety of Naot shoes (made in Israel), as well as Ara shoes (so comfy!) and many, many other brands. Be careful when you buy, because they will only give a store credit for a return. But that's not an issue for me, since I am a frequent shoe buyer and they always have something I love. Please shop at Westlake Shoes! It's the only brick and mortar shoe store around for miles, and our community really needs them. Again, the customer service is amazing! And they are so knowledgeable about every aspect of their products.

This WAS my favorite shoe store. Bought a dozen or more shoes over the last couple years and Tim was the reason. This Ron guy just wants to hear himself talk. I ordered a Hobo bag and guitar strap 3 weeks ago from Ron. Still don’t have them. I ordered several more purses directly on the Hobo website one week and 2 weeks later and they have ALL arrived at my home. I’ve called numerous times to check on my order and I have received NO call back. My call goes straight to voicemail. Come on people. My friend had a similar experience with orders placed with Ron for Ara shoes and Naot insoles. 5 weeks she waited for the insoles. Still no Ara shoes. You just can’t believe much of what comes out of Ron’s mouth when you’re talking to him. My card has not been refunded either. Just a warning to work only with Tim and do not order shoes if they don’t have them in store. Go directly to the brand website for your item. Very disappointed.
Update 11/10 my items finally arrived in store. When I went to pick up the item, Ron knew my utter dissatisfaction and did offer me 30% on another item in store which I did take advantage of.. he then contacted me by phone about a week and a half later and asked if I would take down my negative review. I don’t think he knows that he could have responded to my review.

Wonderful service and great recommendations. I was looking for a great pair of shoes that would fit a business trip with lots of walking. The gentleman helping me made sure I got the most comfortable pair. Thank you! Highly recommend this place.

The selection of quality shoes is outstanding. Always greeted with a warm welcome. So many choices that it is hard to pick. I usually end up leaving with several. The owner and his staff are fantastic! A favorite of mine.

Great service and selection of well made, attractive shoes. I will be back! I didn't think I would be able to find pretty pair of shoes that I could also comfortably wear, but in no time at all the owner helped me to select a beautiful pair of shoes that I will wear for a special occasion. WESTLAKE SHOES! I visited Westlake Shoes for the first time (in the TJ Maxx center on Thousand Oaks Blvd just off Lindero Canyon). Where have I been ?! I found super cute and comfortable boots and high top tennis shoes by ARA. ARA uses a bamboo based lining so can be worn without socks and they’re waterproof! I have happy feet!
This family owned business carries several great brands…Something for everyone…even guys! ?. (My son is receiving a pair as a gift!)
A big plus…Ron is really knowledgeable, patient and accommodating.
