The food was fresh & delicious. The fresh bread is amazing. We each got the special pork shank & risotto. The pork was so soft & moist you could pull it apart with just a fork. Portion size was great & we had leftovers to take home. The drinks were amazing & the staff were delightful. They would check on us at the appropriate frequency & never once rushed us. I have eaten here about 4 times and each time I had a similar experience.

We arrived for our first time and no one acknowledged for us for sometime. I had to prompt several times for assistance. We finally got sat. The food then came out quick and was absolutely thr best sourdough and salmon. It was worth the wait. 10/10.

We arrived for our first time, and no one acknowledged for us for some time. I had to prompt several times for assistance. We finally got sat. My husband, who was already upset due to the ignored wait, ordered mushroom pizza but then was told they were out. Then they weren't and brought out the pizza and his 2nd order. He took home the entire chicken meal. My salmon was absolutely delicious. Hopefully, they can fix service issues.

I have been meaning to come to the new location for awhile so took the opportunity on my bday.It was about 8pm and there were only about a few tables being served. We waited at the host stand for about 5 mins before we had to look for someone to seat us. We had reservations. The restaurant was very cold inside. Service wasn't their priority as everything was just slow. Our server was snarky & rude. Our dishes didn't look like effort was put forth.Sometimes going bigger isn't always better. Service & food at the previous location was much better.

Won't go back. Was hopeful based on reviews and that there is a dearth of nicer restaurants in the Conejo Valley. But we (family of 4) had a bad experience. Saturday night and it was about half full so not really busy. Server was super nice, but.... very untrained. These all happened in the span of 10 minutes...Wife: how is the Pinot noir by the glass?Server: I don't know.Me: what kind of oysters are they?Server: I don't know.Wife: what is the ratio of beets to greens in the beet salad? Is it more beets than greens... is it balanced..?Server: I don't know.Other things:- Ordered the baked mac and cheese for our daughter. The bartender dropped it off at the table quickly (guess the server was busy?) saying, "Careful, it's hot," and scooted away. Well... it wasn't. It was cold. Like, out of the cooler and thrown in an oven for just a couple of seconds. Told the server and she offered to "warm it up" (wrong response) but by then our daughter had eaten some of our son's pizza and it worked out, so we asked her to take it off the bill and she seemed shocked.- I ordered "the burger." SERVER: Which one? ME: "There's more than one? I didn't see a second burger on the menu..." SERVER: There are two in the system. ME: (flipping the menu over and double checking) "Only the Spanish burger is on the menu." SERVER: OK, so you want the Spanish burger? ME: "Well, I don't know now. What is the other burger?" SERVER: I don't know, there's just another burger in the system. (Another IDK!) ME: ....... I'll have the Spanish burger, please." (the burger was really good, btw)- Burger came with roasted potatoes. They were totally scorched.- The burger was $21 on the menu... but got the bill and was charged $24. They made the adjustment when I pointed out the difference and asked the server to change it back to $21. But still........Anyway - bummer. Really wanted to like it - won't go back.?

Their burger meat is the quality of a steak at a top steak houseAlso, The only place where I feel like paying a couple bucks for bread is a steal. It’s a meal in and of itself. Finally their drinks are phenomenal. I don’t know what it is but it’s like they have an actual drink chef who loves their job and not just a cocktail book.

No attention to detail, no hospitality, dry and haphazard presentation. One of our friends salmon was raw and then sent back and came out dry on the outside and still raw in the middle. The place was dead, no ambience. I was excited to try it and brought some out of town guests. Honestly I was embarrassed that we chose the place when we could have chosen a lot better places in Thousand Oaks.

Fresh ingredients and a friendly atmosphere create a nice dining experience. Of note, the owner came by our table and asked how we were doing and answered questions which was a nice touch. The bread is made in house and is fantastic. I think our favorite dish was the.Crispy Chicken Thighs. Fairly comprehensive wine list and full bar. Free parking all around. I think the building interior could be upgraded a bit but the spotlight here is the food. Will be back.

Amazing food. Had the crispy chicken and it was delicious and well balanced. Black and yellow cocktail was a delightful, flavorful drink. Their daily bread and butter is fire, also tried the feta mousse and tomato toast and it was great. Admittedly the bread in its various forms tends to be a little burnt but is still awesome.Atmosphere was nice too, light and bright in their atrium area with the skylights and just natural, airy, relaxing.

Went for Sunday brunch today! Great food (excellent house made bread), nice ambience, the only negative was the prices were a little high but to be fair it's comparable to other similar places in the area. I appreciated their menu not being overwhelming with a million options too. I will definitely come back to try their dinner menu. If you're looking for brunch and mimosas, this is a good local option!

What an exquisite experience at Decker Kitchen in Westlake Village! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel incredibly special. The owner personally introduced himself and took on the role of our server, guiding us through the menu with expert recommendations.I indulged in an Old Fashioned that was impeccably crafted, while my mother thoroughly enjoyed her Singapore Slinger. But the highlight of our meal? The special Detroit-style deep-dish pizza. I've had my fair share of pizzas, but this one is hands down the best I've ever tasted. It had this perfect crispy texture, and the balance of cheese and tomato sauce was nothing short of perfection. The suckling pig paired with polenta and bitter greens was a savory delight. And the crispy chicken thigh served with rice and pickled cucumbers? Simply delicious. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience coupled with warm hospitality, Decker Kitchen should be at the top of your list. Kudos to the team and the owner for making our visit memorable. We'll certainly be back!

Sourdough: 10/10. I get how this bread put them on the map. Chewy, crusty, crunchy, and moist.Pork chop: 9/10. It's easy to overcook pork but it was a bullseye (pig's eye?)Chicken: 8/10. The skin was a little hard to cut through.Cocktails: 9/10. Interesting flavors and ideas coming from the bar.Overall, service was excellent. They never rush us and the food came out in good intervals. To be fair there weren't many customers when we had dinner.

Very mediocre. Our server was very friendly which was the only plus at our dinner visit. As others mentioned it's a very weird space which definitely kills the ambience. They were short staffed for the amount of guests which partially caused our order to take 45 mins after placing it. Food was just not great leaving us with a sense of regret after. Ribs seemed like their were cooked an hour beyond what they needed and were wayyyy to tender leaving their proper "snappy" texture left behind in the oven. Burgers were okay but lacked a standout flavor. Potatoes were also disappointing with too large a serving size per piece and lacking a fluffy interior/crunchy exterior. The waiter/chef was bragging about the quality of their food but if you can't prepare it right with the proper technique it's all for nothing.
